This isn't just about best design, but also best version of the character.

I say I loved Nick Slash, who currently ties with Archie Slash as my favorite.

May just be because it's the freshest in my mind but I voted Nick. I thought it was a perfect version of Slash. Loved his backstory with Raph, his Hulk-like design in action, and above all else Corey Feldman's voice. Can't say enough about Feldman's work as Slash.

Giving the vote to Nick. They do a good job of making him into this psychotic, indestructible force while also giving him a personal connection to the Turtles, thus opening up a lot of story and development possibilities. He's basically a "Best Of" Slash without the weaker parts of previous incarnations. Corey Feldman also completely ROCKED that sinister voice of his. Second favorite would be Archie for providing a more serious and layered Slash around the same time that the OT were doing...whatever they thought they were doing with him. :P

You know I just realized Nick Slash doesn't have the palm tree obsession like the others. I guess this Slash won't be missing his "Pinkie" like the others.

Raph still has his leaf, though, which might eventually persuade him to remember the good old days.

Archie Slash. The only one that got whole idea down without any drastic changes from the action figure's original design. Well... minus the fact he was an alien instead of a mutant Shredder made. But the overall look and character of Slash was really captured, without making him kid-friendly, someone's pet Turtle or a brute that can barely talk.

Archie Slash.

Archie Slash was indeed great. I love how he felt like an ambiguous hero at times. His death when the spaceship he was on crashed into the sun was also touching.

seeing as I never really knew about the others....I'm picking Nick Slash

I always thought the character Slash wasn't very intelligent

but Nick's Slash has a brain(can argue)...and he is brutal....that's a dangerous combo.

Archie Slash was the most fleshed out, but I'm starting to like IDW Slash too. His "complete" outlook in #28 is awesome. :)

Btw, there's also a Mirage Slash.

Powder 11-30-2013 03:12 PM

The Turtles In Time/Playmates version for design. He's essentially Archie Slash, but he's a little eviler looking, has different armor, and he's got teal skin instead of olive. Voted Archie since it's close enough. I quite like Nick Slash's origin & personality, though. He's one sick mother.

1.archie slash
2.nick slash
3.idw slash

Mzx10484 11-30-2013 03:47 PM

Archie Slash is the best !!

TurtleTitan97 11-30-2013 03:50 PM

Nick version, hands down. Just about everything about him is awesome. And the way he took the Turtles' bandanas like trophies.... like a boss!:tcool:

Garfield 11-30-2013 07:00 PM

I like 90's toy Slash
I like the write up of Slash that they had in 1990's Toy how he was from dimension X and was called the Anti-Turtle, it seemed like every thing the turtles were about, he hated. He was opposite of them. He was the Bizzarro to their Superman. I like that he looked like a twisted version of a ninja turtle..but I guess most versions of Slash do, . I like that his weapons are more deadly versions of the Turtles Weapons.

He comes of like a throw back to those silver age comic book evil doppelganger type characters, and I like that.

Archie crew checking in.

The Fifth Turtle 11-30-2013 08:07 PM

Nick.......strong fast and violent.

Shark_Blade 11-30-2013 08:12 PM

I always seem to confuse Slash with Tokka...they might as well be the same thing. I think Tokka is a villain and Slash is..um villain too? I haven't seen the new episode either.

So I'm judging from design only: Archie, Nick and video game.

Ah, I remember now. This is the only Slash I have ever seen in motion:

And I have the toy from the anniversary release too eventhough I know next to nothing about his character except that he attacked the turtles. :P

Lord Nightwalker 11-30-2013 08:15 PM

Archie Slash, IDW Slash, Odyssey Slash and then Nick Slash. But they all have a lot in common. Except Nick Slash being pudgy. But Daaayuummm! He's quick!

I like the character in general, to be honest. And I can't wait to see what IDW has in the works for their Slash.

Cipher 11-30-2013 08:34 PM

Probably Archie Slash or Nick Slash. I like the personalities they have, although to be honest I prefer Slash stay a villain.

IDW Slash badly needs both 1) more characterization and 2) a more iconic design (I know he got another black mask, but I'd like to see him suit up a bit more). He's just too bland in terms of both personality and appearance right now. It doesn't help that he's also been a walking tool for the last arc.
