When logged on, on my phone and computer rank is different?

I noticed not long ago, when I made my 50th post/comment I turned "thug" and I was on my computer then I switched to my phone and I was still a "random punk" with 47 posts. Is there an equalizer or something? Or are they always gonna be off. :tcry:
