Should we just vote him out of the fandom/forum, or just leave him be because every so often he has an insight or is good for a laugh?

This is tricky, Jester. If he's being derisive and disrespectful towards fans EG putting them down, then there should be grounds for action. But I think he's read all the rules and regs quite carefully. I think it's mostly for attention. If he can anger people by slamming what they enjoy and see that he's actually getting a rise out of them, then we're giving him what he probably wants. I've noticed that all he posts about are things to instigate the fans, so I simply don't allow myself to be bated. Well I certainly try very diligently not to be anyway. Have you tried talking to the mods? Maybe Cubed needs to take some advice from a certain Disney rabbit. "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say nothin at all." Meh, don't play his little games dude. He ain't worth it.

Despite Cubed's occasional bouts of (unintentional?) racism I don't mind him all that much so let him stay.

I can't stand when he's a prick to members of the various creative teams that post here. I'm not saying we should all kiss their asses just because they post here, but just leave them alone if you don't like what they're doing.
