My collection...rebuilt!

First a quick background story: I've been a turtle fan for a long time. When the original figures first came out I wanted them...BAD. So every time I received five dollars of allowance money I'd walk to PlayCo toys or Target and pick up another figure. Christmas and birthday gifts added a few figures here and there, but for the most part I built my collection one figure at a time with hard earned allowance money. By the time I'd hit highschool, the collection was quite large and so I built a custom display shelf in woodshop. And there they stood until I moved out at 18, and had to store them for lack of space. Eventually I moved out of state loading my car with whatever I could pack into it, temporarily leaving everything else with a family I had been close friends with for over a decade, promising to return in a year for the rest of my belongings. Among the items left for safe keeping was my Turtle collection, save for the original 4 turtles which made the trek to the new state with me. Sad to say, that family vanished on me and took everything I'd trusted them with, with them. Over the years I've replaced much of what was lost, angrily re-buying items that I'd purchased once before...sometimes at a higher price. Several months ago I decided it was finally time to get my Turtle figures back, and so between collectors shops, comic book stores, and ebay I rebuilt my original collection. I just layed them out on the table in preparation of displaying them and thought I'd post the initial picture along with a shortish backstory...so here they are:

I'll post more pictures in the next day once everything is displayed and added to my all ready existing collection of turtle items.

I've got a few accessories to track down yet, but I'm ready to set these guys up. One weapon however that I wasn't sure about appears below. Anyone tell me which figure it goes with...

This weapon does not belong to a TMNT figure.
Your collection - quite good !

Sweet collection! God i hope those retro figures come to the UK soon!
Such a shame about what happened to your first collection :(

Thanks for sharing your very cool collection! I understand the frustration when someone has to re-purchase an item they once had. My mother either gave away or threw out some of my TMNT collection that I acquired as a child after I moved out. I spent the last 15 years collecting what I lost or couldn't afford back then. I wish you the best on your collection rebuild. :tgrin:

Okay, here is my current Turtle collection. As I said, there are still items I'm trying to track down, but I'm very happy to have these figures back again!

Great collection Doombuggy! I am currently in the same boat of tracking down turtles from my lost childhood collection (I had them all back in the day). Good luck!

If you're still curious, that gun goes to a B-9 toy (The robot from the lost in space tv series) produced in the 90's. It's one of my favorite toys i still have from when I was a kid.
