No matter who directs a tmnt movie, who stars in it, or how it's handled...There will always be people complaining.

I'd rather have a lot of movies be made an them be so/so than not have my favorite characters ever brought on screen.

All of u who say boycott the film aren't fans. If u don't like who or how the movie is being done by an handled simply keep your negativity to yourself. The movie will be made by some who took the steps in life 2 put themselves In a position 2 bring it alive in their "vision ". So accept the fact that since u are not I. That position it will never be done as you see it in your head.

I'm not a Micheal bay fan for how he originally wanted 2 change the story but hell I was going 2 see my favorite childhood movie brought 2 life again. As long as he doesn't last air bender it or do evolution I'm behind him 100%.

Yes, there will always be people complaining whenever movies like this come out; you can't please everyone. Heck, when the original X Men film came out, people were complaining about the characters not having their multi coloured spandex costumes like they had in the comics.

However, I just don't like the way that Platinum Dunes appear to be handling this franchise. I'd rather have no movie than an awful movie if I'm honest. For example, Naughty Dog were planning to reboot Jak and Daxter, but they decided not to go ahead with it because it barely resembled Jak and Daxter and they felt they were just slapping the name on for marketing purposes. While it sucks that there's no new Jak and Daxter game, I'd rather have no game than a game that barely resembles the franchise.

Platinum Dunes don't appear to be putting enough effort into making a good movie, and are just slapping the name on the marquee to make money out of the franchise

Really? So, because I have no interest in seeing a bunch of hacks take some characters I've loved for over 25 years and essentially piss all over them on the big screen I'm not a real fan?

Not to start drama But you don't know the highlighted part unless you see the movie i think that's more the point.

People believe they have seen enough to judge the movie

And i know you don't like which version there using as inspiration so your not really the target audience here. But you can't truly say whats in bold unless you actually see the movie. You can't truly judge a book with out reading it, you can't judge a cd with out listening to it, you cant Judge a comic without reading it.

I respect you thought on not wanting to see it you have your reasons. But to truly judge something you need the whole picture, to accurately formulate an accurate opinion, other wise you just have opinions on bits and pieces of a whole, and that "whole" could take those bits and pieces and create something great, but you wont know for a fact until you have that whole picture.

Also I do agree. There are always people to complain even with the best of movies, there will be those that dont agree with what is being done in come with anything. you can't make everyone happy, it is just no possible.

...though, there are fewer people complaining when it's directed by a good direction, written by a good writer, and made with good actors. Oh, and yes, by any other film company then Michael Bay's.

But look at the bright side of it, at least, it's not directed by Zack Snyder.

Thats not true, Just about every comic book movie has haters people hate on the avengers, people hate on Ironman, people hate on hulk, people hate on Captain America, People hate on Thor, Xmen, spider-man, Superman, Batman, Green lantern, Wonder Woman. Seriously just about any comic book movie has haters it just come with the territory.

I'm not upset with you, Anton. I'm just upset at these people who state that just because I don't like the direction a movie is going that I'm not a "true fan" because "true fans" are supposed to like everything that's thrown at them. Sorry, that's not true and I stand by the fact that I dislike the direction the movie is going. As I've stated, I'll still see the movie once just to see whether it's good or not, but if it bombs, I'm not bothering with it again.
