Hoping he posts an online copy, as I'm expecting the physical copies are gonna be hard to come by for most of us.

Yes, PL stated a digital download would be available.

So happy #32 is coming along after it was pretty much drawn. Maybe the Steve Lavigne and Kevin Eastman inkings by Peter have stirred him up for now.

Keep in mind the script for this one was already written ages ago, so it probably doesn't move the story along that much.

Remember this was "just another issue" when it was originally written, not the, "this is the first new issue in like 3 years" kind of issue. I wouldn't expect it to progress the story much.

Wasn't PL said something like that years ago, that he could wrap up v4's storylines in 3-4 issues?

That's a relief. Thanks!

I don't think anyone needs to worry about getting hard copiers of this. They will be available from Shellback and Mirage after FCBD weekend. There's a 1000 copies printed. I don't think #29 or 30 sold out that fast. #32 should be available for a few weeks/months at least...

The Fifth Turtle 05-01-2014 07:42 AM

I for one am excited (and hoping) to see if my letter was chosen for print :D

Got my fingers crossed, then.

I actually JUST bought #30 from the Mirage store and low and behold, it was their very last copy.

I waited too long on #29, alas. That thing goes for almost $200 on eBay, now, so I don't want to make that mistake again.

Was 1,000 copies the total print run for #'s 29 and 30? Cuz if so, I'm not nearly as worried about getting my hands on #32.

Mayhem 05-01-2014 11:36 AM

Yes. The first 100 I believe had sketches in the back cover.

DK2 05-01-2014 06:09 PM

Theres a 1000 copies of both issues. I believe theres around 225-250 sketches by Peter among the 1000 for #29. I'm not sure about #30. It may have been the same amount or just under that number. But Mirage let the other artists put in sketches as well. So theres actualy more sketched copies of this issue with Lawson, Berger and Talbot putting into it. Did Steve Lavigne or Mike Dooney do any? My 2 issues are both Laird sketches.

Do people really think 1,000 people will show up in Shellback artworks in a single day? I doubt they'll sell more than 300 copies at Shellbacks at tops. PL also said he wasn't sure if he'd let one person buy multiple copies.

Plasticplayhouse 05-01-2014 06:46 PM

I heard that some will be made available on the mirage site...

soccerstud652 05-04-2014 09:34 AM

Anyone pick this up yet? Eager to hear the reviews!

Chinese Turtle 05-04-2014 10:53 AM

I just want to see Mike'baby, he\she\it realy has three heads?

CyberCubed 05-04-2014 08:00 PM

I wonder how many people actually showed up at Shellback artworks. I suppose PL will post a new blog about it so we can see how the day went.

It was crazy busy!!!! My fiancee and I got there around 1:30, we didn't leave until about 6.

We felt so bad for Kevin, Jim, Peter, and Steve. They were super nice to stay there as late as they did.

CyberCubed 05-04-2014 09:14 PM

So what exactly happened? Could you give a run down since you were there so long?
