I really have no idea how mutated pizza fits into the whole storyline... :tgrumble:

There's still so much other stuff going on that we want to know about - Karai and Shredder, TigerClaw.... they Must have something hidden in there for the main story arc.

Worst episode yet.... Surprisingly bad... :(

Ok! What did I just watch? Ok, it was funny and had some good moments in it but has to be the worst episode of season 2 so far.

One other thing Leo was played by Dominic Catrambone not Jason Biggs, I hope it was just a one off (I guess they did this episode when Jason Biggs wife was due to give birth) and Biggs aint fired.

OH NO!!! are rumors of Leo being recast true? :(

The voice sounds alright but... it's definitely not the same. Guess we better start getting used to it. I'm wondering... the reason (or at least part of the reason) for delays between episodes... could it be related to finding the replacement for Biggs? I know the guy in this ep also did Leo in the video game, but maybe they did do some casting before deciding?

Something interesting... in the credits 3 of the turtles are listed in their own block... Leonardo is listed in a separate block along with the "other" cast... soooo is it possible this casting of Leo is temp? whatever the case... I hope we find out soon.

Did this episode remind anyone else of "Parasitica?" Which was one of the weaker episodes from Season 1 :/ I do think it was better than parasitica but... I don't know.

Mikey literally ate Pizza Face... wtf...

I have feeling he was just a temp as Jason Biggs was busey with other things at that time. Remember when they had to use other voice actors for Donnie and Raph in the 80s toon.

Every time i like an episode it's universaly panned, and every time i hate one (Baxter mutating one) everyone loves it, it's a conspiracy...
Also they made a major leap in the animation here, movements are more fluid and they added a little more texture.
And i'll just leave this here, April is a plank here she has 0 personality...
Leo's new voice sounds similar but the old one felt more geniune...

His tweet is vague though you can't tell if he means JUST FOR THIS EPISODE or as a full member of the brothers... I think we can all accept that due to life circumstances they may have to use temp voices here and there... perfectly fine. But if it's a permanent change we need a formal announcement. So for this reason I ASSUME it is temp... I just don't want to be wrong and disappointed.

I thought the episode was funny.. the talking pizza etc.. i got a few good laughs, and mikey being my favourite, I love that the episode was all about him! only thing that ruined the episode a bit was the voice of leo.. new guy sucks! i am praying it was only a 1 episode type deal where biggs was busy. Hope Jason is back in the next episode.

I noticed that too. Woohoo! Maybe we see a rivalry with the Kraang :D

Catrambone voiced Leo in the game based on this cartoon, just as an aside.

Whoa, so they got a replacement for Biggs?

Though like someone else said already, he was probably too busy with other projects or personal issues to record his lines for this episode. I highly doubt it has anything to do with his controversial tweets way back to who-knows-when. It seems way too late to punish or replace him just for that.

Wow never thought we'd have a VA replacement for one episode like the OT used to do.

Wikipedia lists FOUR different voice actors for Shredder alone.

James Avery, Townsend Coleman, Jim Cummings and Dorian Harewood. Apparently Townsend also did a few episodes as Krang.

I really liked this episode too. It was a 'day in the life' episode with the turtles, and that was something really cool. Sure, it's a fillers and there are some parts you could claim slow, but I definitely enjoyed it more than Mazes and Mutants and The Lonely Mutation of Baxter Stockman.

The concept sort of reminded me of it, but the plot and layout were totally different. One thing that kind of bothered me before the episode was the 'Mikey saves his brothers' plot again, and while watching it we got the 'brothers don't believe Mikey' story again. However, I think they did it in a new and fresh way that made me enjoy it.

Yesss! So excited for them. But is this just a tease, like Casey Jones in Season One, or do you think they are already among us?

Being this episode had nothing to do with the whole arc, I'm sure he used the opportunity to spend time elsewhere.

Not like him voicing Leo in this episode would have helped the episode much.

This episode was pretty funny. Not sure why some didn't like it. Very fun episode.
