Short Story from "Tales" Collected w/ Nobody
 

I was checking out the "TMNT Books" section over at the official site, and I noticed that the "Collected Tales of the TMNT" has a short story featuring the character Nobody. This story is not in "Shell Shock" and it appears to be the one piece of Mirage Continuity that I do not have. (Which of course frustrates me to no end :evil: ).

I was wondering does anyone have this? If so can you briefly describe the story? Is it any good? Is it worth tracking down?

Damn... Stories with nobody are rare, and so is the TPB of Tales.

I do have all the tales issues, but Ratking said that the TPB has a new backstory with Nobody...

BTW, what's in Shell Shock?

It's a collection of TMNT short stories. A lot of them are great and a handful of them are canon. It's very rare, but I snagged a copy off of Ebay.

The short story at the back of "The Collected Tales of the TMNT" is a 10 page story reuniting the regular "Tales" team of Lawson and Brown. Basically, a street gang attacks an old man and he (non-fatally) shoots one of them. Knowing that the gang will come after the old man, Nobody recruits the Turtles to help trap the gang at the old man's home. The End.

Thanks. I hope this is ultimately not considered canon, just for the simple fact that I do not own it :D .

Nobody is a vigilante cop that appears in "Tales" #2, "TMNT Vol 1" #s 48 & 49, and the "Collected Tales".
