Looks like June, 3 months out is when they decided to kick it in gear. We're going to see new trailers. We're getting individual character posters now. Toys are about to hit retailers. Crush Soda is running flavor specific runs for each turtle. Raph = Strawberry, Mikey = Orange, Donnie = Grape, and Leo = Berry. Pizza Hut marketing will soon be coming. More stuff coming to light.

THIS Shredder, totally over the top, just like the character was meant to be. But he looks totally bad ass.

I have to agree with Powder, this didn't need it's own thread... (Those stencil-graffiti's are pretty nifty, tho.)

It can be spelled both ways. I have no idea what's going on with Mikey's face... they sure could have picked a better pic of him, the other guys look good while he looks slightly retarded...

But we can't discuss the various marketing images and other images in that thread it would be nice to have a thrwd where we could do that, comment on the pictures and talk about them, and not clutter the picture thread with needless posts that isn't images.

Viacom have decided that Donatello is now going to be shortened to Donnie instead of Donny. It's in the other Viacom versions as well

I'm actually warming up a bit to the Shredder suit... It's still too bulky here and there and there's too many pointy bits, but the samurai-influence makes it a bit more likable.

I've never heard of something shortening something by adding a letter.

Great thread, we need some place to talk about all the stuff released without discussing in the image thread. Plus, this is a great place to talk about new trailers and TV spots, since the trailer discussion thread is also closed down.

Now let's hope this thread survives.

While I'm still not digging the designs, the graffiti promo is a really fun thing to see - I like the art style. If nothing else, I'm happy that we're at least starting to see something.

The fact that it hadn't started is why it was lacking. This is a summer blockbuster. Marketing for these films typically start prior to 60 days from release.

Still shorter the his full name. :P

Once the Bickering's been cleaned out (probably tonight), it will be reopened... I would like to see this thread survive as well.

I really like the black and white images. I don't drink soda, so the crush isn't something I'd pay attention to, but I like the simple B&W contrast in the images.. :)

That's the point. It is out in 60 days and the marketing you mentioned (X-Games, Crush) just started. It should've started sooner.

I'm not even going to comment on their method of marketing. Any other movies using the X-Games as promotion?
