For a young age group so I assume this is reminiscent of the book I had as a kid based on the first movie, pretty cool if so. :D

Edit: This I mean...

That's interesting, I wonder if there will ever be a Comic Book Adaptation of it.

That'd be sweet. I still have my comic adaption of the 90's movie kicking around in a box somewhere. Would be cool to have one of this one as well.

Hehehe, I still got mine. There were two that were released. This one, and then the junior novelizations written by B.B. Hiller. I still got those as well. They made a great companion to the movie, lets you get more behind the scenes then what was in the movie.

Do you post on sideshow freaks forums?

SwiftNinjaFox 07-15-2014 07:17 PM

This was posted a while ago, but no cover at the time. I'm still disappointed it's a Junior Novel.

Full blown novelizations are pretty awesome going into more detail where the movie just doesn't have time.

The point is clear, there is already a thread for this, & that's it. Krang's advice to those of us aware = share the link in the new thread. Boom.

when i was maybe 6 or 7 in the early nineties, i had a novelization of the first movie, it was no more than maybe a hundred page long and had the movie poster as the cover (the one where they are all looking out from under a manhole cover). sadly my parent sold it at a garage sale along with my plush toys and my plush Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, but now i can find no evidence that the book ever existed at all.

I think is actually be interested in getting this. Hopefully in gives us more insight into the things they don't show on screen
