Is the Rat King Gone?

Is the Rat King gone now? In "Of Rats and Men" Splinter says 'Goodbye my King." But in "The Wrath of Tiger Claw", Raphael makes refrence to him, as though he's still alive. Anyone know what happened to him?

Of course he's not gone. He "died" by way of falling. Oldest trick there is.

Yeah the only way you stay dead in movies and TV is when everyone can see your dead body and then that body is crushed into dust.

He'll be back.

And even then they can still find a way to harness the DNA, perform a ritual to the gods and hey presto.
