Dollar tree to buy Family dollar
 

Dollar tree is in the process of buying family Dollar for 8.5 billion. Guess not everything is a dollar.

I've always thought Family Dollar's stuff was kind of a rip-off. I wonder if that will improve under DT's ownership.

I had to think about it for a minute, but we don't have a Family Dollar here. We have a Dollar Tree, but it reeeally sucks.

Heh, that's a new one. I used to work at a Family Dollar and I'll still shop there mostly for junk food, drinks, and last minute cheapy stuff for a college class. It's no different than General Dollar so I wouldn't expect there to be much of a change if ol' F.D. does get bought out.
