Those are the only ones I noticed. Felt like the turtle soup line was poorly timed, seemed a bit odd to me with where it was.

I was hoping April or Ven would have a version of the music that played in the cartoon when they transitioned to a Channel 6 news scene with April, but alas.

Cowabunga was an obvious one. The opening where April was trying to get the scoop from the guy in the hard hat reminded me of the opening in Secret of the Ooze. I was hoping for a giant mutated dandelion.

Donnie had the OT theme playing in the background during his "hack."

And, perhaps Sachs' line about mutated rabbits.

Oh yeah, when he mentioned the rabbits, that did make me smile.

not sure if its a tribute but there were some 90's era pizza hut boxes mixed in with the new ones

I noticed that too, I had a good chuckle about it. And then thought about a terribly over designed monster looking Usagi...

The first one I knew was going to happen was shell shocked playing for the credits. Just like turtle power did. The Raph trench coat scene never happend so that was disappointing. And I liked them taking the channel 6 can and converting it.

I thought that I heard that -- my theatre was super quiet. :tcry:

Shredder defeated by felling from a building rooftop. Now that I think about it, the original Mirage comic also had the same end for him.. Wow.

Channel 6, Bernadette, Vernon; Megan Fox wearing yellow jacket reminiscence of OT April jumpsuit. Seriously thought this movie is a big love letter to OT fans. :tlove:

It was Raph who pulled April onto the roof after she took their picture.

By the way did anyone else notice they listed baxter stockman in the credits?

but back to the topic When I heard "tonite i will dine on turtle soup" I pre'ed a little:o

1. The Pizza on Splinters face.

4. The 87 theme when April got a message from Donnie on her lab top.
5. The 87 theme when the van pulled up.

Oh I forgot to mention that the theater I went to was playing the first TMNT 1990 film on a large over head screen in the concession stand lounge. Beyond cool to have sat and watched part the very first film in a movie theater right before seeing the new one.

Sacks also made a reference to them almost using rabbits instead of turtles - Usagi.

I actually laughed out loud there picturing them as ninja rabbits. One of the few genuinely funny lines in the movie.

Also, just curious.. Is it Sacks or Sachs? Because when he gives April his business card it says SACKS. Or was I just seeing things?

Wasn't it always Sachs? I'm so confused.

He was always called Sachs in marketing up until a couple months ago. It's Sacks.
