movie poll

Okay I went in expecting not to care for it too much but I had a free ticket from my the good the bad and casey jones dvd. I actually enjoyed it despite its flaws. My biggest complaints were

The size of the turtles
the shredder bot
Splinters voice

So I am creating this poll to guage afew things

chrisdude 08-08-2014 06:37 AM

Why is it "expecting to hate it," or "open-minded?" Like open-minded is as positive as a person could have felt, going in. What about "expecting to like it?"

Cause I didn't think of that and you can't edit polls apparently.

Shark_Blade 08-08-2014 06:53 AM

So much hatred options wtf.

chrisdude 08-08-2014 06:59 AM

I voted, but this is kind of why I just do binary polls. Good or bad. Everybody complains about them, though...

Puddinpop 08-08-2014 07:21 AM

I love how there are like 4 out of 6 options with the word hate in it.

THGhost 08-08-2014 07:46 AM

This poll needs an option like, "Still waiting for it to be released in my country". :P

What is being "open-minded" to you?

Nameless 08-08-2014 09:05 PM

i went into the movie nearly blind, having only seen the teaser trailer that was out in april and nothing else. even mostly stayed out of this area of the forum for a bit. and so very open minded.

and i loved the movie. Shredder was badass. turtle personalities were done well (Don was a bit over the top but thats it). had a lot of action but not the huge explosions and things people were talking about. very much enjoyed and am even going to buy the figures now just so i have a set i liked the movie that much.

I picked other. I went in with low expectations, and when I left, I was neutral. I didn't hate, and I didn't like it either. I, just didn't care either way. The movie had potential, but was just drowned out by a lot of fluff.

METALHEAD 08-08-2014 09:12 PM

i loved it. didnt care about the changes, i loved it. and i want some more of it. it needs a sequel!!

dindin 08-08-2014 09:39 PM

I went in with low expectations, so I wasn't disappointed. I was actually pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the jokes and thought the fight scenes were amazing.

go_ninja84 08-09-2014 10:51 AM

i had a free movie ticket as well...i went and saw it on opening night, i will say it is a good movie to sit and watch for the regular movie goer, but if you are a fan of tmnt since the good old days (like me) you would have a lot of problems with it

bmxbandit 08-09-2014 03:28 PM

other! went in with low expectations and turned out it was better than i thought it would be. didn't absolutely love it but didn't hate it either. its gets a solid C rating in my book. average.

strawberryfields 08-09-2014 04:13 PM

My feelings before seeing the movie bounced around from "this is going to be just as ****** as transformers" to "this could be alright". In the end I went in with a clear head so I could develop my own opinion. Great movie, I'd compare it to the original cartoon rather than the original movie, though

Ut Ohh.. he said open-minded

It's ok TTS. Don't flip out. Just try to be a little more open-minded ok

victory_angel 08-09-2014 09:46 PM

I loved this film, is it a great film...No. Could it have been better...Yes. Is it worth watching, yes.

For what it was (without the checklist), it was a good film. Or at least as good as we can expect from a Michael Bay produced film.

clodguy 08-09-2014 10:18 PM

Every-one in the theater I was in cheered and cheered .. Even my sister-in law who has never seen a turtles episode loved it.

The only unhappy faces I saw when I was leaving, were the people who have to clean the theater.

The True Shredder 08-09-2014 10:44 PM

Government?

Why do I feel like you've been paid by the government to say that? :ohwell:
