If the movie was based off of 2k3?

I say if done right I would think most people would of enjoyed the movie if it wasbased off of 2k3. There was so much they could have madewith thisseries. Shredder,Triceratons,Battle Nexus,Karai,Hun,etc. I would think it would be good. How about you?

IndigoErth 08-15-2014 04:11 PM

Well with a sequel coming, and goodness knows probably more than just one with the way Hollywood works now, there's still opportunity for them to pull some inspiration from it as well. Wouldn't be surprised if they do.

rodster6 08-15-2014 04:21 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if Shredder may still turn out to be an Utrom.

Werecat 08-15-2014 04:24 PM

Maybe no. If it is about making Leo into a total Mary Sue then no. If the movie focuses on each turtle and allows each of them to have some sort of character development then yes. I doubt that will happen though. 2k3 was all about "Super Leo and only Leo" while leaving the other turtles unlikable.

2k3 is not its own thing. I think you mean if the movie was based off the original comic.

Andrew NDB 08-15-2014 04:25 PM

If it had to be based on any cartoon, 2K3 would have my vote. As long as they leave the blatant Playmates pandering stuff at the door.

Netkeeper 08-15-2014 04:30 PM

Basing it off 2k3 would be my favourite way to go. The Ninja Tribunal would make a kick-ass movie.

The True Shredder 08-15-2014 05:18 PM

According to you?

I Don't agree but it is just your OPINION.

Shark_Blade 08-15-2014 05:31 PM

No.

The Shredder already looks like 2k3 version.

Do you need glasses by any chance?

Coola Yagami 08-15-2014 05:34 PM

I'd say hell no. Utrom shredder is ok for a cartoon but keep that **** out of the live action movies.

The True Shredder 08-15-2014 05:41 PM

Hmmmm....

I don't know about you but I like to think the Shredder was a mantle. Even if you kill the original Shredder there will always someone or something take his place. That's what that Utrom was doing. Even if you didn't like it it was never the original Shredder to begin with.

Haters gonna Hate :D

lol the 2k3 did give Leo the most attention. But I actually liked it. It was something different. But you can't Leo all the screen time on the big screen.

Netkeeper 08-15-2014 06:05 PM

Well most of the live action movies gave Raph the most screen time, so I don't really see a problem with making it somebody else for a change.

Powder 08-15-2014 06:23 PM

It's not my favorite version but I'd be down for that.

The True Shredder 08-15-2014 06:29 PM

Agree

I agree with this. It makes sense that Leo gets the most since HE is the Leader. I don't understand why this doesn't make sense to people. Plus everybody got screen time. And I do mean everybody. Each had at least one episode to themselves.

Just because he's the leader doesn't mean he should get the most screen time. Most screen time should be equal to them all, but if not, it will be given to the character that has the most in your face personalities, since that's what the movie going public likes.

Coola Yagami 08-15-2014 08:20 PM

I kinda don't think shredder was really a mantle in the comics except for when raph wore it for a bit in the image comics.

Yeah Karai wore it for a bit... But she was literally impersonating Saki to get the Foot Elite to commit seppuku. She wasn't really taking shredder's place.

The 2k3 series overdid it with a ka-zillion shredders.

Warhorse 08-15-2014 08:40 PM

If there is going to be something to make Leo more focused, I would like it to be the Karai arc and not Shredder. Shredder should be all of them centric, or Splinter.

But, if they adapt anything from the 2k3 toon, I would prefer more of the Battle Nexus stuff. I think a live action version of the Turtles in a gladiator type setting (considering some of them already have gladiator type clothing as it is) would look bad ass on the big screen. Maybe even make it like The Hunger Games, TMNT style.

The True Shredder 08-15-2014 09:17 PM

A kazillion

But...there wasn't a ka zillion in 2k3. Only 2. Utrom Shredder and Tengu Shredder. And like you said Karai was never Shredder. And Cyber Shredder was just a copy of Utrom Shredder. So really only two.
