NYCC 2014 TMNT panel

This is probably the thing I am looking forward to most at NYCC. Is anyone else here going? They'll only be one episode into S3 by the panel, but I hear rumors that much will be discussed.

Konchadunga 10-01-2014 11:27 AM

I'm looking forward to hearing whether they get boos over recent events.

plastroncafe 10-01-2014 11:31 AM

If I can get in, I'll be there.
Though, I guess I should get caught up on the Nick Toon before I do.

Luckyday 10-01-2014 11:36 AM

Let me know if marathoning through show has improve your viewing experience.

plastroncafe 10-01-2014 11:41 AM

Count on it. :D

CyberCubed 10-01-2014 11:44 AM

Tell Ciro to add more females to the show.

Super Goku 10-01-2014 11:49 AM

I would go if it was practical. Right now, I don't have the time or funds.

My question is will the real Irma be in season 3? I feel like we need to start a #BringBackIrma campaign for the internet, lol, not really. :tgrin: The internet seems to give viewers more power. An example would be the Veronica Mars movie and KickStarter.

I was thinking about asking that during Q&A. Its kinda my biggest complaint atm. Irma is gone and they pressed reset on Karai. Gimme Angel, please.

Super Goku 10-01-2014 12:06 PM

All we need is a Kraang prison break episode, where the turtles find Irma and some other captured humans. Perhaps even the Earth Protection Force could rescue them. The Kraang are good at replicating stuff, an example of this is all of those April clones they made.

I remember Angel, she was in the Purple Dragons for a short time in the 2k3 series if I remember correctly.

But Cyber, we're full up. He said so himself.
We've got a good girl, and a bad girl.

Besides, female characters are too difficult for the writers' room, they just get too powerful.

I'd be very happy to see Angel! It'd be easy for them to go the IDW route and make her a childhood friend of Casey's.

pl212 10-01-2014 01:02 PM

I'll be there.
Interested in finding out new info on season 3 and the deal with Karai.

snake 10-01-2014 01:53 PM

I'll be there. I'll probably ask about a shark mutant of any kind.

TonySiegel 10-01-2014 04:29 PM

probably going to go to the panel... depending on the line and stuff like that...

IndigoErth 10-01-2014 04:41 PM

No... kinda wish I could. Still kicking myself over 2012. Only convention I've ever been to... and I wasn't back within the fanbase yet, was not yet aware a new series had started and was 'stuck' there behind a vendor table the entire time anyhow... *sigh* What I wouldn't give now to replay that and attend the first panel for this series.

You went to NYCC in 2012? I did too! I met Cowabunga Corner's Ivy and took her picture. I didn't know about Cowabunga Corner yet at the time so it hit me after the fact. I just thought her merch and stuff was cool and that she was a huge turtles fan.

Sucks I wasn't into Nick's show yet then.

Or, he could just do something with the ones he's already got. De-mutate Karai, turn Leo's little tea time friend into like Angel or Casey's sister (or combine both). Show that Irma is not just a robot, but some poor girl trapped by the Kraang and the Turtles have to break her out.

Is that a joke? Do you really think the Internet giving viewers more power is a bad thing? I think a twitter campaign is a great idea. How is a hashtag started?

ssjup81 10-01-2014 09:34 PM

An adult female would be nice...

Yup and a giant bag of stuff to haul back to Virginia to prove it. lol

I'm going to assume that it is always that crowded and I made a mistake. I went in 2011. I'd moved back to Japan in early 2012.
