bending the bandanas

Has anyone ever tried to bend down the wavable part of the bandanas on the heads of the turtles? i want to do it to so they don't look like they have wind blowing in their faces anymore.

i was going to put the part of the bandana in boiling water for a few seconds then bend it to a desirable position then put them in the freezer for two minutes.

anyone ever tried this?

Boiling in water is a technique commonly used by action figure customizers, so I bet that would work. I don't know that putting it in the freezer would do any good. It should reharden just fine at normal room temperature. If you're not patient, cold water would be more effective than the freezer.

yep. and Donnie is the only one with his belt blowing the same way as his bandana.

I dont know if that is true for ALL the turtles figs because on my extreme sports turtles Don, Mike, and Raph's bandanas are blowing to the left and only Leo's is blowing to the right.

My recipe:

Cut the tail of the bandana off where it meets the part on the head. Get a piece of wire, and heat it with some sort of flame. Stick one end in the head, and the other in the bandana. This way, you can have it flowing or strait down.

hmm...I think that I will leave my figures the way that they are.
