I hate how the Blu Ray/DVD combo packs get all these neat exclusives while the just the DVD release doesn't get jack ****.

They are slowly getting out of date, sadly.

IndigoErth 10-10-2014 01:11 PM

Now the question is... are these exclusives limited to pre-order or will they (excluding Amazon of course) be in stores. Will Target have those slip covers in-store? Because I think I'd seen on their site last I looked that if ordered online the cover choice will be random. Also I think the Barnes & Noble is only via pre-order.

Yes... >.>

There really isn't any reason for DVD to fall out of use, I'm assuming it's more like the industry is trying to force it out. Personally I've never been impressed with Blu-ray, it's just another disc to me. Show me different technology like a small chip and then we can talk.

Vicky82 10-10-2014 01:35 PM

I expect we (the UK) don't get it until January/Febuary.

chrisdude 10-10-2014 08:34 PM

I've see that Eastman poster in B&N, and it's badass. I already want that more than all the other stuff.

But what I REALLY care about is the bonus features. When will we hear about those?

Hakase 10-11-2014 03:24 AM

Looks like I'm going with the Walmart exclusive, since my wall is to filled for another poster and the extra BluRay disc is useless to me, since I don't own a BluRay player

SS Kakarot 10-11-2014 11:12 AM

I pre-ordered at Barnes & Noble, hope they ship the poster international.

TheWarrior97 10-11-2014 01:38 PM

What are those figurines on walmart?

They look like cardboard cut outs?

IndigoErth 10-11-2014 01:58 PM

Imo, they look a lot like the figures that are the lid toppers on some theater cups there are pics of online and eBay. So maybe the same mold and same size as those?

TigerClaw 10-11-2014 08:29 PM

I hope the release will include the deleted scene with Kevin Eastman.

TurtleGuy 10-11-2014 11:18 PM

Hey, the US release is coming out on the same day as my birthday.

Lucky me... Happy Birthday to me... :tconfuse:

zkarlette 10-12-2014 01:54 AM

I seriously can't wait for this.:)

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually did get stocked in stores. It was like that with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with the bonus disc, where on the site, it said exclusive to target.com. Sure enough, I go to Target on the day it's released, and I can actually pick it up there.

If they're really making the TMNT Blu-ray with the bonus disc site exclusive though, it's kind of stupid to not let the buyer choose which cover they want. I want to get Target's release for the bonus disc. I'm not sure if I really care about the individual covers, but I think I prefer the Leonardo version.

Getting the Amazon exclusive and the one from Barnes and Noble for the poster.

IndigoErth 10-17-2014 02:19 AM

So I guess the Target info updated recently?

Edit: Oh, and not sure if it would count as an exclusive, but came across this little giveaway on Amazon (U.S. only) as well, for devices available for the Amazon Instant Video option.

Thank you for the additional Target info :)

Also, I'd definitely count that Amazon Digital bonus gift for the comic as an Exclusive. I wouldn't be surprised to see more digital retailers offer exclusives in the future to be honest.

massakre 10-17-2014 11:52 AM

Im always a sucker for exclusive bonus material although I got screwed pretty good with Target's bonus digital content for Captain America: Winter Soldier. So since this is an actual bonus DISC, Ill prob Target my business. Plus they have the slipcovers.. but I gta be honest, that poster from Barnes and Noble looks legit and I want that just as much... hmm choices lol
