He's still dead, right?

Please say yes.

JakeSully 11-12-2014 10:26 PM

Yes but who else thought he was a cockroach?

plastroncafe 11-12-2014 10:52 PM

Kind of insulting to cockroaches, don't you think?

BubblyShell22 11-13-2014 08:35 AM

Who cares about him? He's dead and that's it. End of story. He was a horrible man, but he's gone now, so I don't see the need to bring him up again.

As a white conservative Christian man, I hate the fact that most people think of "people" like Phelps when all of those descriptors are lined up. I actually did a speech about that troll in college when I first discovered his bile. #notallChristians. :D

Who thinks he had mental problems and needed a shrink?

As an atheist i think he was a no good piece of human rubbish who needed a doctor. To quote that Paul Willams song "Good for nothing, back in bed, nobody likes you and your better off dead, good bye good bye, we all come to say good bye".

Jester 11-13-2014 08:38 PM

Who cares...he's dead.

BubblyShell22 11-14-2014 07:30 AM

Exactly. He's gone now and won't be bothering anyone anymore, so let it be. Of course, his church will still be around, but whatever. I liked it when Tim McGraw took a selfie at a concert of his where some of the WBC were gathered with signs that said, "God Hates Drunks." It was just so hilarious how he took a selfie with these guys and then went on to do his concert.

Fixed that. Heh, I thought I was the only one here who knew that song- it's "The Hell of It" from the movie "Phantom of the Paradise".

Don't know anything about this Phelps guy, but from the sound of it, that's probably just as well. Sounds like a real credit to the human race. *sarcasm*

There are quite a few fans of Phantom on the forum...and some of our spouses hate it with every fiber of their being.
*relistens* Man...LOTS of those lyrics fit Phelps.

This is so true. It makes me sad when every single Christan in existence is lumped together with the crazies just because they are the loudest. Same with Muslims or any other religion.

Most people are just trying to live their lives right and are perfectly happy to coexisist with anyone of any religion or non religion as long as they are treated nicely.

Anyone seen 'Red State'? Kevin Smith's Fred Phelps-inspired satire/thriller. It's pretty good.

BubblyShell22 11-21-2014 07:44 AM

No, but it sounds hilarious.
