After a day to recharge our batteries, we are back to kick off Round 3 of the TMNT Season 2 Best Episode Tournament. In Round 2, only one of the episodes that recieved a first round bye didn't make through to the Final 8. So now let's get into Round 3.

Round 3 polls are now a bit different from the previous 2 rounds. Round 3 polls will be 5 day polls and who you vote on will be public to the forum.

We're starting off Round 3 with 1 vs. 9. Both these episodes were standout episodes for obvious reasons. One is considered the best of the season, if not the whole series. While the other has a pretty strong cult following itself. Which one will come out on top?

I love both of these episodes, but The Invasion wins.

Yeah, gotta be The Invasion. As good as they both were, that one was damn near flawless.

The Invasion, definetely. It's simply a masterpiece. :anime:

Both are excellent but the Invasion because it's nearly a work of art

So it has come to this: Leo one-shot vs Raph one-shot! Well, The Invasion does have a lot more going on besides the Leo one-shot, which is already a win for me. The entire double-episode is so intense, unpredictable, filled with plot twists, betrayals, sacrifices, devastation, vengeance, rage, sadness, endurance and finally acceptance of great defeat. It's a trilling ride from the beginning to the end. While I voted for the Raph one-shot in its first two rounds, it is time to give in to the incredible season 2 finale this round, there's simply no contest!

The Invasion.

I didn't pick the Invasion because it didn't really lead into anything in the season 3 so far and IMO it's a remake of season 1 finale with a downer ending option.
