Return To New York
 

I have a feeling that when the team gets back to NYC, Muckman and a group of fighters (LH and Splinter included) will be fending off Kraang or EPF agents and leading a mutant army. No point to this thread, just though it would be a cool thing to see. What are your hopes for the return to New York?

I am willing to bet when they do return the show will act like no time has passed since they were gone. NYC will be exactly as how we remember it in the finale, with everyone mutated and the Kraang running around.

Shredder will still be sitting in his throne room (hell, we know that because of the Bebop/Rocksteady mutation scene), and Karai/Splinter will still be in the sewer somewhere.

This is despite the fact that at least 1 month probably passed in Northampton.

In within the woods, april says that they've been in Northampton for three months. But you're probably right.

Which makes the time gap even worse. Because NYC seems "frozen in time" until the Turtles get back with everyone doing the same thing since they left, even though it shouldn't be like that.

Realistically by now the EPF should have rid all the Kraang from the city, Splinter should be fully healed, Shredder should be....doing whatever...

If the EPF could take care of all the kraang, would they be at war with all the mutants running around?

Bet you're probably right about Splinter and others, I couldn't see him just standing by and allowing things to just go down around him, at least not without giving it all his best effort to fight against it.

NYC is probably in some Kraang time bubble portal thing that's slowed it down drastically so time has hardly moved when they get back... Kidding, but lord who knows. (Although it could be a good moment for Renet to show up since time is her department. Edit: Or... she'll show up and send them back some months. o.O)

The first course of action is to set up a place as their new lair. They don't want the Shredder to know they are back just yet.

Second scope out the city and see whats become of it while they have been away.

Third Salvage what they can from their old lair into their new lair.

Fourth start putting together an attack plan to take out the Shredder and Kraang for what they have done.

Fifth locate mutant allies such as leatherhead to assist. In doing this they find Splinter and learn he is alive. A very happy and tearful family reunion ensues.

Take Splinter to the New Lair and talk about all that has happened between the two groups.

I was hoping that the time in Northampton would be important, with maybe some major character developments and the group growing up a bit and that that would lead into a serious bout in NY but I guess it'll be them just storming NYC? I hope we see some sort of underground movements with the people of NY and maybe some of the mutants banding together but who knows. I see them brining in the frogs and storming the city and maybe focusing on some central place to somehow distribute a cure. Hope its good, we'll see.

Or the EPF has neuralized the Kraang Threat, and the Shredder is using the EPF to round up all the Mutants in the city so he can make them into his mutant army. And also to locate Splinter and the Turtles...because even Shredder knows throwing him down that Drain wouldn't have killed his former friend. Unless he sees a dead body, Splinter is still alive.

Honestly after 3 months there shouldn't even be a New York anymore. It should just be one big chunk of dimension x by now and the kraang would have spread out to the surrounding cities.
