Predicted Time Frame until the Sequel comes out.
 

What do you think the time frame is going to be until the sequel comes out on June 3rd 2016.

This is my prediction.

In Janurary/Feburary they will be looking for new actors for any new parts for the sequel.
In March/April we will get the official title for the movie.
In May/June they will start filming.
In July/August filming will be finished.
In November/December we get the first teaser trailer and a poster.
In Feburary/March we will get the official trailer.
In April/May the marketing and promotion will start and maybe another trailer for the movie.
June 3rd the movie opens

If we're really lucky.... never, and we get a reboot from another production company instead?

Hopefully it gets canned.

I doubt we'll see the actual title that soon, a working title maybe, assuming they'd even let that out. They seemed pretty tight lipped over a lot on the first one for so long.

I'm not holding my breath that that date will stay the same either.

Now that Bay seems to have lost his edge in the public eye for ruining the Ninja Turtles, I'd say there won't likely be a sequel.

We probably won't get a sequel, thankfully.

If there is a sequel, count on Arnett not coming back.

Sadly Megan probably will, because this is her new nerd franchise since she effed up on Transformers.

Anyway, if the sequel doesn't get pushed back or moved around a bunch, which I'm sure it will, then that'll probably be the schedule.

Count on less marketing this time around. Don't gotta try even that little when people will watch it no matter what.

On the topic of predictions...

- Yeah there's no way Arnett is brought back, unless its for a tiny cameo. There'll be no use for him anymore once Casey Jones enters.

- I predict Liam Hemsworth will be cast as Casey. I have no reason for this prediction other than the fact he wore a Ninja Turtles onesie on his icebucket challenge video & I bet someone at Paramount noticed (my personal choice would be Aaron Paul).

- Ploszek won't be dubbed over by Knoxville again. It'll probably be like the Doug Jones situation in 'Hellboy'. He was dubbed over by David Hyde Pierce in the original & then allowed to use his own voice in the sequel.

- Can't see Danny Woodburn returning unless they let him use his own voice (unlike Ploszek, he threatened legal action a while back).

- Megan Fox is pretty much guaranteed to be back.

- If Liebesman doesn't return, his director-twin Marcus Nispel will probably get the offer.

I predict Shia Labeouf will be cast as Casey, and the internet will explode with rage.

I base this prediction upon the studio wanting to draw in more of the Bayformers crowd (and thereby, the Bayformers dollar) with the tried & tested Fox/Labeouf combo. And the fact that Bay is, well... Bay. (I'd say he's the harbinger of the apocalypse, but I'd probably be accused of sounding hysterical. :twink:)

Glad I've never been too personally invested in Casey, so if that happens I'll just grab the popcorn and watch the drama. Unless of course like Fox he gets too much screen over the Turtles - then get out of my way, I have an opinion to state.

Shy Laboof as Casey? No thanks.

LaBeouf has spent the last 3 years desperately trying to reinvent himself as a crazy & unpredictable Joaquin Phoenix-like method actor. The chances of him returning to a Bay production are pretty much zero.

Too many years of seeing Bay saying he's never doing another Bayformers, only to do an abrupt 180 as soon as the studios wave another gajillion-dollar cheque at him. Too many years of Lucas's shenanigans. The sequel to 300. Son of the Mask. Not one, but two Sex and the City movies. I'm old and weary. I've seen too much chicanery.

In between the time of filming, We'll no doubt get some BTS Photos & Videos of the actors in the Mocap suits, And by the time the Toy Fair for 2016 comes, We can expect leaks of some of the figures for the sequel.

The Shia Pet as Casey? Urgh, I hope not. He's such a tryhard it's pathetic.

Given that people behind all this seem to want to flip some of the foundational concepts on their head or pull entirely new ones out of their asses to fill the potholes (plot holes?) they jackhammered into long establish stories...

Mark my words, Arnette voiced Batman in the Lego movie, didn't he? There is a danger there in him possibly having a reasonable Casey voice. :P

Huge. Show has been on consistently for 20+ years, they have conventions, limited edition collectibles for older fans as well as younger fans and, as you know, they are prepping a new movie.
