...Just so that I can see a TMNT/Spawn crossover! I think it would be so ****ing cool to see Spawn, and the TMNT fighting together, or against each other.

I don't see why it couldn't happen.. Just because Larson's a bitch, doesn't mean Todd is. :D

Well, Spawn is going to be moving to Top Cow soon, so maybe it's not all that impossible. Even though I always hated Spawn. ((shrug))

I'unno, I only know what I read in the new Wizard that came out today:

"SPAWN: Will Todd McFarlane's cash cow jump to Top Cow? Inside sources at the Cow say the move is about 99 percent certain. While little is known about the deal, it's believed Top Cow would publish Spawn while McFarlane would retain rights to the character."

That's all I know, which is twice as much as I care. :P

I wouldent say that About Larson, I think is is very respectable. He has been working on Savage dragon since in began, over ten years! Much like Todd. He did get mad and thats silly, but a bitch I don't believe.

He's pissed that Mirage decided to ignore his *koff*sh!tty*koff* storylines.

Well . . . now he knows how it feels . . . like many of us did when he pulled all of the lame crap that he did with the Turtles.

Good, Lord, what did he expect? That people would actually ACCEPT that Raph's face is half burnt and he's the leader of the Foot? That Donatello is a cyborg? That Splinter is a bat? Those changes were far too extreme.

A very cool little alternate universe, but too extreme.

He was obviously trying to add some depth to what most people remembered as a kiddy show. I think it worked on some level.

Most of the Image storylines made me laugh out loud! They were Absolutely ridiculous!! And not even in a good way.

Although, Raph as Shredder kicked serious ass!!

But, what bothers me is how much of a baby Eric Larson is being about the whole "not using Image continuity" thing. He publicly renounces the TMNT. He claims that comics in general are failing, and blames the Image volume's failure on that. He's a whiny crying baby!!

BTW I don't like Savage Dragon either.

That would be awsome. Witchblade is one of my favourite comics. Could you imagine a fight between Shredder and Witchblade or Spawn. Plus Michael Turner or Todd McFarlane doing artwork with the Turtles in it. *drools*

If image did TMNT, it'd be cool if they retold the storyline and created their own universe (kinda like what dreamwave is doing now). But without any of Larson's madness. It would definitely have to have a more mature theme IMO.

I think everyone would have been a lot better off if it had been established in the very beginning of the Image series the Larsen's & Co.'s take on the TMNT was a continuity/universe unique unto itself. (Which I realize is not what it was intended to be . . . but shoulda been.) The way it was handled was no way to change the opinions of those who saw the TMNT as a mere kiddie property . . . not at the expense of the original Mirage continuity.
