We Wish You A Turtle Christmas DVD?

Was there ever a legit DVD release of this? I have my VHS copy but I don't have a VCR and I'm ashamed to admit I watched it almost to death as a kid. I loved it. :ohwell:

My mom really really loves her Christmas specials, and I'm making her a disc of a whole bunch of various cartoons...of course the one I can't find is the one she'd love the most.

I don't have the time, funds, effort or energy required to convert my VHS copy. I'm willing to actually spend money on a DVD copy. (ugh if I had thought of this a week ago it wouldn't be a problem...)

Amazon has a listing for the VHS, and then shows "1 Disc version" but I really don't wanna risk buying a DVD from a VHS listing because I know I'll get it and be mad when it's actually a VHS.

So - was there a release, and if so, does anyone know where I can buy a copy?

No dvd release that I know of. I'd buy it in a heartbeat though.

I don't think there's a release - you can rip it off Youtube and either burn it to disc or put it on a stick though.

I wonder if Nick even owns the rights to it?

Somehow, a two-pack DVD release of it and the Star Wars Christmas Special needs to happen. Such things might just lighten the mood in this increasingly volatile and unforgiving age in which we live. :tlol:

There was apparently a bootleg one made in Finland or some other random non-US country that circulated for a little while a few years ago, but that's it. I think it had Turtle Tunes on the same disc, also.

The Netherlands released an official DVD featuring both We Wish you a Turtle Christmas and Turtle Tunes. It was released by Dutch Filmworks.

That cover is terrifying.

I actually made a thread about the Dutch DVD almost ten years ago. :tlol:

That's awesome. I'm thinking about picking the DVD up myself. It's quite interesting.
