They are showing the first two seasons of the 2003 series on Nicktoons from Dec. 22 – 28, at 8:00 p.m. (ET) if you haven't noticed.

No news if the 1987 series would be re-aired, but you know, if you really need to watch them there are so many ways to do that, you can find them on iTunes, DVDs and (ahem) other ways.

Well, 2k3 is airing on the 22nd (Nicktoons). No OT reairings.

Any idea if the Christmas one will air? :)

(Although this should prob be scooted over into that other section meant for 2003.)

Hm, out of curiosity, has the OT ever been rerun since its original run outside of the USA Cartoon Express?

Powder 12-23-2014 03:46 AM

In Canada, yes, but I don't think it has in the states.

The 4kids series had a Christmas episode, yes.

Yup, "The Christmas Aliens". :)

Love the end of it, among the cutest damned Turtles things I've seen. Would be perfect if they'd show it Wednesday evening.

(Edit: Nope. Ok, Nick's schedulers must be people with no sense of inspiration or creativity at all, just boring people who sit in a boring beige cubical wearing boring beige office suits. Seems like most nights 2003 is a marathon? Christmas Eve - two episodes and then a movie about...wait for it... basketball. [insert 'kidding me' face] Not to complain about an old show on repeats, but people used to be smarter than that, or at least cared more.)

I'm wondered how puzzled fans of the Nick series feel for those who never grew up with the 2003 series or even forget it existed. But I'm glad Nick provided this and I'm hoping they'll continue with future seasons or updated DVD releases. Meanwhile, check out the final episodes of 4kids Season 2 tonight while we're still waiting for new Nick episodes!

Wow, that was really dumb. I watched the Christmas episode myself on Christmas Day, just because. I've been making that a new tradition for the holidays- I now watch it at least once each year on X-Mas.
