Nick.com is streaming this series as well

For those of us in the US who don't have Nicktoons Network, TMNT 2K3 will be streaming on Nick.com

Holy crap, this is amazing.

Yet another good sign that DVD releases might eventually be coming.

plastroncafe 12-23-2014 04:51 PM

Super sweet news! Thanks!

Desslok 12-23-2014 04:56 PM

It's nice to see this show resurfacing. There for a while I was afraid it had been buried.

Nick spent $10 million alone on buying the 2k3 series from 4kids. The people who thought they wouldn't do anything with the series had no clue how business works. Like Nick was really going to throw $10 million dollars down the drain as a loss without trying to re-sell a product they purchased.

As I said, they waited until after the Nick cartoon was a success before going back to old stuff. Its common sense, and business 101.

Davetello 12-23-2014 05:17 PM

Cubed, now a business student. Is there no end to your talents?

Shark_Blade 12-23-2014 06:23 PM

Cubed gets serious whenever 2k3 topic is on the table.

CyberCubed 12-23-2014 06:28 PM

Some people just need to be educated on the subject matter.

pharaohyami5000 12-23-2014 06:55 PM

Heh. Davetello's new avatar pretty much expressed it for me.

This answered my question from... what I posted in the 2k3 topic, I believe. I shall watch each episode. Twice!!

evan2000 12-23-2014 10:34 PM

Sweet! Looks like they will be streaming at least 20 episode for a start. This is the description they put up at the Nick site:

It's really welcoming news that Nick wants "kids today" to get-to-know the past series of the franchise as well. By quoting FOUR versions I guess they included TNM as well, although it's a little inaccurate to say that the series has been around since 1984 (first series started in 1987, only the comic started in 1984)

Also, "shell-ebrated" :tlol:

turtlefanforever 12-24-2014 09:53 AM

not only a dvd release

but I hope to see 2k3 merch resurface. New toys, shirts, ect. I'd be all over that. Great news here. I think I'm gonna watch through this whole series again now. I'm inspired lol

THGhost 12-24-2014 12:14 PM

Where are they? All I can find is the 2012 series.

Try http://www.nick.com/throwback-turtles/

Remember you need to use Google Chrome with the Hola plugin.

They have made episode 1-16 available so far.

CyberCubed 12-24-2014 02:17 PM

Awesome. I cannot believe they're putting whole seasons online as full episodes.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Playmates did a rerelease of the 2003 toy line similar to what they did for the original toys?

Donatello19 12-24-2014 03:15 PM

This is great news considering I forgot to watch it on Nicktoons yesterday, thanks!

Donnieangelo 12-24-2014 05:08 PM

DARN YOU CANADA FOR NOT HAVING NICKTOONS! :x

Okay, there is a Canadian version of the actual Nickelodeon channel but I don't have it. :ohwell:

On a side note, I'm on my iPad and the episodes don't play for me.

(Yes, I've been on my iPad this whole time and YouTube is my only source!)

It just redirects me to nick.com. Where do I go from the main page? Cos I can get that far. Linking there directly doesn't seem to work for me.

It's like I live in a parallel universe where this page doesn't exist. :P

Oh yeah, after installing Hola, you'll need to visit the page once, click the Hola logo and switch the region to US, and then revisit the page again.
