Leo in "Bernard and the Genie"
 

Hey guys,
I guess some of you don't even know this, but in the comedy 'Bernard and the Genie' from 1991, Leonardo made a cameo.

To make it even cooler it was the original Leonardo, David Forman, in his original costume!

I was trying to find this movie for many years to see that cameo! :D

That was pretty cool. Makes me wish we'd see a movie with these types of costumes again.

Wow, I never knew about this. I wonder why they were able to use the costume and everything?

Because they paid and got permission. Not much to wonder about.

Man, I want more Turtles cameos in stuff. :) Every movie that's got a shot that's supposed to be the streets of NYC either needs a fan in costume in the background or if using a green screen just work the 'realistic' Turtles in there somewhere sneaking/running past in the background or something behind the crowd or along the roof. :twink:

This and Jim Henson's Creature Shop is an english company originally based in London.

NICEEE...Man I love seeing things like this, the Ninja Turtles from the original movies making guest appearances in tv shows/movies. Please post more if you know of any!

Yeah, they just put Emilio into the scene from TMNT 1.

Really cool find. Can anyone make a gif of the full Leonardo moment? In a decent size, if possible. Normally I use gifyoutube but it's not working for me.
