I really loved the new movie. I just wish eric sacks was the shredder like he was going to be because baxter stockman was cut from the movie. but still loved the movie hope baxter Stockman and more of karai is in tmnt 2 2016.

Oh yeah I hated it and to be honest I don't think it really would have made much difference if Sachs was Shredder.

Sachs still had a science background in the version that was originally shot so it's not like he replaced Baxter. It seems Baxter (as well as Kevin Eastman's cameo) was cut up due it revolving around the mutagen being to create super soldiers before Bay decided the turtles needed to save New York City and such nonsense.

I don't think the movie would have "flowed" much better either. Personally I'm glad that we got Saki...or a character reminiscent of him.

I really hope they bring it back a bit with the sequel. What I mean is keep Saki, use him more. Explain him more, build more history with him. Have him work with Baxter seeking his revenge. Maybe have mousers definitely bebop and rock steady. Maybe have Baxter create the foot tech ninjas that way the turtles can do more martial arts while making them a challenge for the turtles. Make Saki more visible in newer suit keep the same actor the dude killed it in his parts. Delve more into the mutagen heck maybe they can use scenes cut from the first one. But have more defined martial arts for Saki, the turtles, and the foot

What was Eastman's cameo? What did he play?

He played a TCRI scientist.

I thought he was a janitor.

I wish there were some stills from the cut scenes, just so we could get a look at that kind of thing.

so far for turtles 2016 cast I think is confirmed the 4 turtles, splinter, april o'neil, vern, eric sacks, shredder, bebop and rocksteady and maybe Casey Jones and hopely we get more of karai, and baxter stockman. and maybe have or make eric sacks krang and hopely have the movie 10 or 20 mins longer than 101 mins.

You know, I wonder if Sachs is going to fill the Baxter Stockman role as Shredder's mad scientist, or maybe become the Rat King or someone else we know? There has to be a use for him now that he's not Shredder anymore.

So they are going to have enough time to produce release this by 2016? How credible is the timeline?

There was an interview with Fox when she was making the press rounds. She said she was doing press until December and if all went well she'd be getting ready to shoot the sequel in the spring. So that sounds about right. And now with the turtle tech in place there's less R&D to worry about. Should make for a little bit of a faster process. Of course that would most likely be negated by adding more mo-cap characters.

By that time, I'm sure we will see some BTS photos and some videos from the filming later this year.
