Do you have any addictions? :ohwell:

Other than TMNT, what are your addictions?
It couls be eating, drinking, a fandom, or anything else! :):ohwell:

I'm a gym/fitness addict, but that's about all I can think of...

Katie 02-04-2015 05:30 PM

Diet Dr. Pepper. It's sad really

Powder 02-04-2015 05:34 PM

If anything, it's eating habits. Not hooked on any substances that aren't related to food. I did smoke for like 8 years but I'm a year & half cigarette free with no cravings or regrets.

Slade 02-04-2015 05:42 PM

I have a pretty bad addiction to coke...:o I'm talking about coca-cola actually.

pennydreadful 02-04-2015 06:40 PM

Well, we're all Turtles addicts, right? :tlol:

IndigoErth 02-04-2015 07:05 PM

Outside the Turtles, um... internet in general.

WoW a little bit, but certain Turtles have been a bit of a distraction from it for a bit starting with movie drama. Will prob get back to that a bit more again at some point.

I also seem to be pretty into that oxygen stuff.

Donnieangelo 02-04-2015 07:14 PM

My Wiggles addiction might be starting to come back to me again. ALL THIS NOSTALGIA!

Oh, and I also have an addiction for collecting vinyl records. I guess it's time to start dusting off my record player and starting playing them again!

How could I forget the internet? :tlol:

Gotta wonder where I really do stand with it, though. I spend most of my time at home, on the computer (though not always online, often times I'll be working on art or gaming), but I'm not like the average person who's constantly checking their phone for social network notifications & the like, & to me, that's what makes the distinction between addiction, & enjoyment. I'll go spend a week at my homeboys house recording music, drinking, going out, etc. & I'll glance at the cpu (which is there for music purposes) once or twice at the end of the day maybe, to check the drome & my email, but I don't go crazy not being on it. I rely on it heavily, for many things, but I can survive when the wifi is on the fritz or I'm traveling (without a smartphone, mind you!).

snake 02-04-2015 09:14 PM

Lots of stuff. Eating, toy collecting, constantly wanting sh*t.

Leo656 02-04-2015 09:35 PM

This is insanely personal and nobody is ever going to be completely honest about it.

Like, if someone here is tapping a vein, they're going to spill it to the whole forum. As if.

pennydreadful 02-04-2015 09:40 PM

Well, according to a test I just took on the internet, I'm not addicted to the internet.

Slade 02-04-2015 09:48 PM

Let's see what all I'll admit to.

Sex..though I've been having withdrawals...

Nicotene. But these ecigs are doing me good

Said Coca-cola

Chocolate. I have to have chocolate every day.

I would say I am addicted to social media. I check it constantly..though I don't have much to do anyway..or any one to actually talk to...

The Drome. I'm on here everyday too, whether I post or not.

Used to be addicted to games, but with no home internet (the f*ckers won't come out there) I kinda stopped playing.

Pain pills/adderral..they ain't mine, but they might as well be.

pennydreadful 02-04-2015 10:16 PM

Actually, I'll admit to having trouble in the past with my alcohol intake - I went through a patch where I was drinking heavily as a coping mechanism (for reasons I won't go into), but it's under control now.

Does an addiction to fanfic count? :tlol:

Leo656 02-04-2015 10:44 PM

I've been accused of having an "addiction" to porn, but I spend zero money on it and out of an average month I look at it maybe ten minutes total, so I hardly think it counts. It used to be more but that was a long time ago. I do talk about it a lot but in truth I'm mostly being colorful.

ssjup81 02-04-2015 11:30 PM

Milk! *gets strange looks* No, seriously! I do! I LOVE milk! I can drink a liter in a day without any problem at all. It's like after one gulp I want more. I'm a "milkaholic". lol It's best for me not to even buy milk. I shouldn't drink so much.

ProactiveMan 02-04-2015 11:59 PM

I used to be hooked on Pepsi Max, but I kicked that five years ago with extreme prejudice. It sounds dumb, but I had the shakes for three days, no joke. I have to kill ice-coffee soon because I consume that with concerning regularity.

B-Man 02-05-2015 12:57 AM

Buying action figures. This is a new development, only really kicked in the last 12 months. I stumbled across a movie-toy sale, bought a cart full and loved the novelty of it all. That was when it started. Then a mix of watching Black Nerd Comedy videos regularly (where he's proudly showing off his merch with glee) & frequenting sites such as this that accept your geek indulgences tend to make you a bigger geek. But it's to the point where if I've visited a mall, the trip feels incomplete unless I've bought some trinket or movie/TV-related merch (Turtles mostly). I'm worried cause I don't see this slowing anytime soon at all. I'm 30 for f*cks sake.

The internet. Specially when you find yourself just watching random Youtube just for the sake of it.

Drawing. Frequently get the urge to just doodle something.

Chocolate. Can't go a day without at least a bite.

Sex. If I haven't seen my girl in over a week, it feels like an issue.

Water. I have to skull a 1.5 liter of water before I go to sleep everynight. Not a bad habit, I guess.

TV/Blu-Ray Player. We had a 48-hour power cut here a few months back and the no-TV thing was affecting me. ( this is all first-world problems but legit addictions)

Here's one that I used to have, but no longer do; and I would give anything to get it back.
