Hi, I just got approval, so I thought I'd make my first post my intro. I am a long time fan, I have been into the turtles since the inception of the series. When I was a kid, I had some of the comics, most of the series on VHS(which I still have) along with a ton of the original action figures. I got away from the scene after the third movie, but I am getting back into it now. I've been watching the 2012 series, and it seems to have the grittiness that IMO the later movies were missing. I recently purchased the original series on dvd, so I'm pretty much set up to binge watch now. Which other incarnations/movies would ya'll suggest for a die hard fan?

Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy it here!

Hi, newbie! Welcome to the 'drome.

I'd suggest checking out the 2003 series, it's generally considered to be the best TMNT show we've had. :tsmile:

Is the 2003 series currently airing on TV on any channel? I don't have Netflix right now, so my viewing options are kind of limited.

Hey, hippyman, welcome to the Drome. You'll love it here. No, the 2003 series is not airing anywhere, though they did briefly air it on Nicktoons. So who's your favorite Turtle?

Picking a favorite is really tough. I grew up with Leo being my favorite, then when I started studying martial arts, I got into bo staff and sais, so my preferences shifted. Now I think I associate with Raphael more than any of the others. At least the comic/movie Raphael, who struggled with his own personal issues.

Hi and welcome! Oh man, those vhs tapes. They took up most of a bookshelf when I was a kid. It's awesome to have the whole thing on dvd now. Anywho, see ya around the forums and have a blast.

Man, you're making me feel old now; I still have, and watch thousands of vhs tapes, lol. I just can't let go of 'em:) Anyway, I will probably be frequenting this place, so see ya'll around.

Welcome to the Technodrome Forums! :)

Welcome dude.

Enjoy your stay.

Howdy and welcome!

watchcartoononline does have the 2003 series. I think you have to look it up as TMNT to find it... their search system is a little meh. I'd be sure to have adblock on if I were you, though... their popups are a pain in the butt.

Welcome & greetings from Germany !! :D
