Don't think anyone ever posted this, But Seth Green was a guest on Rob Paulsen's Talkin Toons Podcast, They talk a little about TMNT.

So I was pretty far behind in watching the nicktoon (ashamed to admit it but I was only a few episodes into season 2)...so I was visiting my parents yesterday and saw they had a few episodes on demand so I decided to just watch a couple. First thing I noticed was Leo's voice was not the same and it took me awhile to catch on that it was now Seth Green lending his voice over talent.

I'm not sure exactly when/where in the series the change happened, but It really annoyed me for some reason. I like Seth Green, don't get me wrong but I find his delivery a bit drab and really prefer the "pie f***er" in the role of Leo. :tsad:

Klunk1234 03-09-2015 09:28 AM

I don't like Seth as Leo too much. The change of voice is too drastic. Leo sounds too old, Seth should try to make him sound younger. That's why Jason Biggs' voice fits him better. And if they want to replace Jason, why they didn't keep Dominic?

lilmotto 03-09-2015 10:32 AM

Agreed. I don't watch the show any more because of Seth Greens voice. It just annoys me to much.

hmm

I like him in Hulk and the agents of S.M.A.S.H and most things he's in as well

I love Seth Green as Leo and feel that with each episode he gets better and better. That's awesome that he was a guest on Rob's podcast and that he enjoys working on the show.

Thanks for the headsup, TC. I'll have to check out the interview this weekend.

I actually started watching the show regularly since Jason Biggs departed. I could never support the program at first due to his heinous habits, especially his remarks on Catholicism and mocking the dead, but now that he's gone I am fully supporting it.

Dominic did a nice job and I think Seth Green has improved as each episode has gone by. I like that his voice has a nice cartoon and leadership quality to it and there is also some warmth in it as well.

Seth Green is a great Leo much better than Jason Biggs he is kind of an ass

Watching the show didn't mean you agreed with Biggs. You still could've watched it.

You didn't watch the show because of a voice actor? That's pretty dumb.

Netkeeper 03-11-2015 08:16 PM

lmao, way to dogpile someone for having a different way of doing things guys

CyberCubed 03-11-2015 08:19 PM

Not watching a show because people don't like a voice actors behavior in real life is ridiculous. I don't give a crap about Jason Biggs and when I watch the show I don't think about him.

Netkeeper 03-11-2015 08:20 PM

Ok, you don't care about those things, that's great. Now respect that someone else may think and behave differently.

TigerClaw 03-11-2015 08:20 PM

Its really a great interview, He talks about how he started Robot Chicken, All because hes a geek for all that stuff.

Get outta here with that crazy free-thinkin', Net. Besides, we've got a date tonight to go run across grumpy old people's lawns and kill their grass with our commie liberal pinko pheromones. :P

But the concept is ridiculous. Think of all the shows you've watched over the years and all their voice actors. Do you even know half the things those voice actors do in their personal life? Of course not. And in reality who cares?

All I can about in the show I'm watching is if the voice actor does a good job with the character.

In reality, who cares? ranger_scout does, obviously. And that should be respected whether you agree with it or not, whether you understand it or not. I don't understand it and I don't agree with it! But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be entitled to that statement.

pennydreadful 03-11-2015 11:10 PM

Sounds like a plan, Net. I'll bring the toilet paper - you bring the silly string. When we reach old man McFogeharty's house, I'm totally streaking across his lawn and stealing his newspaper. :tshifty:
