Zulithe discovered the listings for Playmates upcoming figures (such as the recently revealed Fugitoid, Mozar, etc) & alongside them was none other than Lord Dregg!

With all of the talk of Lord Dregg having four arms, living on Planet Sectoid, and being the Lord of all insect life in the universe, it kind of reminds me of Maligna from the Archie comics. She was a lot more insectoid in design and she had four arms. I do like my Archie TMNTA after all!

I was thinking the same thing. Would be cool if they were a couple. The king & queen of all insect life throughout the galaxy. :tcool:

I am really not looking forward to Lord Dregg, because that means one more OT character on the show to reinvent.

Knowing Lazymates the Lord Dregg Figure won't be as cool as his actual character on the show.

When was Lord Dregg an insect? I don't remember him being bug-like.

Cool to know I'm not the only one thinking that. Yeah and if they were a couple, I'm sure for a lot of us original cartoon fans, that would then remind us of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

I look forward to this new incarnation of Dregg. Yeah, it would be cool if they utilized Maligna. I'm pumped for the episodes already. Just beam them directly into my brain, please. Yeesh, I don't envy Raph after reading this.

As long as he has a blue face I won't mind.

Dregg ain't my favorite....BUT...I love Maligna. So if I have to endure Dregg to get Queen Maligna....Ok...I guess. :P

What if his face is blue-grey? Or blue-green? Is that still ok? :tlol:

He should at least resemble the old character in some form, or else why give him the same name? They give him 4 arms and made him more vicious, but if he's not blue why used a name of an obscure character only die-hard TMNT fans would even remember?

Now I'm thinking about that line by Spiderbytes in s2 when he's captured by the Kraang. "I know bugs in high places!" Probably just a throwaway line but that got me more excited after re-watching this particular episode earlier.

Four arms? Why do I sense a Mortal Kombat homage coming?
