Old episode/topic, but Speed Demon Donatello

Everyone's thoughts?

Am I the only weirdo who loved Donnie as a demon monster type? Loved the design, the way Rob pulled off the voice acting (the man is a genius!) the design of Speed Demon Don, just. Am I the only person who liked him?

I just wanted to get more people to give thoughts or opinions, if anyone is willing.

Personally me, I would have loved for him to have become an action figure or collector statue (I'd so get it), but that's just me. Also for another run with him in an episode, but again, that's just me.

Just a kind of different paced type thread topic. Just wanna see if anyone else liked him as a character like I do, or if it's just me. :p

Playmates released an image of a Demon Donnie toy prototype.

Looks pretty ugly though.

Well at the time, people (like me) were stubbornly under the impression that mutations are under strict realistic science logic of organics can only effect other organics but when this mutant came into the picture, it gave us some slight nerd rage and confusion.

Also it didn't help that the mini season didn't focus on reaction and character development from the realization that an alien apocalypse was well on it's and there was nothing that they can do to stop it. But nope more of this monster mash **** but apparently that's more entertaining then the build up of them going back to New York. Yes because we so need to have a month devoted to having more monsters then much needed insight of our main characters. http://i.imgur.com/Js5iCJ1.gif

I really liked this guy.
Shame we never got a good look at him.

I thought he was pretty cool. Neat design, excellent voice acting. Not my most favorite episode, but still very fun. It looks like their will indeed be a toy, but I'd be very surprised if we ever see Speed Demon Donatello in another episode. However, stranger things have happened!

I was impressed. Whoever modelled and textured him has some mad skills.

Honestly, I hated it. I hated the episode (easily my least favorite of the entire series so far). I hated his design and how he drove the car with the gigantic cartoony gearshift and impossibly large head. Everything about it was just like an insanely wicked (and likely lethal) acid trip. I can't think of one thing I enjoyed about the episode or the hideously absurd design and story. Just not my style at all.

I'm the same to be honest. I wouldn't say that it was my least favourite episode of the series (Pizza Face) but when I first saw the design at Comic-Con I was just thinking oh no... The design and plot just didn't appeal to me.

Ditto. Everything was just... ugh.

What amuses me is that there were already two Big Daddy Roth homages in TMNT lore, and this had nothing to do with either.
