WHY IS APRIL RUNNING? (theory-possible spoilers, not really)
 

In viewing the photos that have surfaced online from the sequences they are currently shooting in NYC at night...the following possible storyline came to mind -

WHY IS APRIL RUNNING? (THEORY)

Unemployed, April finds herself looking for work, and winds up an assistant for BAXTER STOCKMAN. The work seems innocent on the surface, but her suspicions get the best of her, and she finds out Baxter is attempting to recreate the mutagen from film-1.

In a panic, she swipes one of the vials of 'ooze', and attempts to sneak it out of the building to show the TURTLES.

Stockman discovers a vial missing, and members of the FOOT, posing as security are immediately alerted, and go on the hunt.

As April races across the street, she violently slams into CASEY, who seeing she is in trouble, elects to help her, against April's wishes.

April and Casey are cornered, and Casey shows his true colors dispatching the 3-4 FOOT members easily (a la ARROW, minus the bow).

The TURTLES show up, attempt to save April, while mistaking Casey for the 'bad guy'. Casey holds his own against the four, and the fight evolves into a one-on-one brawl between CASEY and RAPH; the others have stood down, realizing Casey isn't the enemy, but Raph continues, because, why not?

Raph and Casey reach a stalement - April intervenes, explaining to the Turtles what transpired before they got there.

That seems like a possible theory.

Halfway decent...

... Which means chances of it happening are slim. :twink:

I can see April going into Baxter Stockman's lab and finding that purple Ooze, assuming she got a temporary job as a Lab assistant, Or she got her job back at Channel 6

Because she's the star of the movie.

When I look at the photos, all I can think of is how plastic her face looks.

Someone wants to bring her the Razzie she won earlier...

Because it's a scene where April brakes her ankle in those shoes and sits out for the rest of the story.

They should have gone CGI with her, would look more lifelike.

April is running because Bay knows there are people out there who will fork out for the price of a ticket just to see Fox's boobs jouncing around.

Also, running in those boots is definitely an ankle injury just waiting to happen.

It feels like the one of the first issues of IDW for some reason: when the Foot were chasing her with the mutagen.

Also, the Foot actually look like ninjas this time around. I was excited and then disappointed with the 2014 flick, but seeing that for a second made me have just a tiny bit of hope. Really small. Like really really small.
