THE FOOT - second time around.
 

With the inclusion of a younger Shredder in Brian Tee - it may be safe to assume that the Foot might be looking at some type of overhaul.

In the first film, Masamune's Shredder criticized Karai because her men were weak...perhaps new Shredder will be ushering in a new wave of Foot to replace the idiot nina-esque commandos that couldn't handle the Turtles in film-1.

In a set video (also posted in the set photo/video thread), we see what appear to be ACTUAL ninja chasing April down the streets of NY...

Wow. I actually think they are doing a complete overhaul on this thing.

Yeah like a soft reboot. It seems Dave Green is doing a great job so far, he seems much better than Johnathan Liebsman.

I don't think it's his own choice...we will judge his job when we will see a first teaser.

Depends. Believe it or not if you talk, sometimes people will listen to you. We can assume as much as we want about these producers but you never know...

I'm getting excited... Baxter looks great, actual ninjas in the Foot Clan...

Now things are getting interesting.

Waaah? A glimmer of hope? Heck, even if they've just been added alongside the Foot, uh, military, but will play a larger role, that works. Well I guess complaints were good for something after all.

Yeah, that's what I thought. This movie seems really like a soft reboot, with a new shredder, baxter stockman, ninja foot soldiers, bebop and rocksteady and so on...

everyone needs to cool it. There is one thing they have apparently done right and that's the costume of the foot ninjas. Remember it's still the same crappy people behind this movie besides Green.

very true, and personally, what will make or break this movie for me, is the look of the Turtles, if they dont tone it down, I'm gonna find it hard to find positives with which to keep defending this iteration.

but changing directors can affect a film greatly, and in this case, I hope Green cleans house. (not necessarily fires people, but makes major changes, cause if anyone can, it SHOULD be the director)

I hope so. As someone who is still rather knew, it would be in his better career interests to get a decent movie out there.

Basically everything about this movie is looking way better except the inclusion of Vern's love interest...

The positives still outweigh the negatives!

I'm optimistically hoping that Vern actually isn't going to be in the movie much. Just like one scene showing us that he's moved on, got a girl, and tries to avoid mutants, ninjas, or evil businessmen.

Not likely, but I'm foolishly hoping.

Naw, you can go ahead and dislike all you want but there's nothing wrong with people getting excited because they like what they see.

Looks very promising. Listen to the fans, Platinum Dunes. We know what we want!

You are very optimistic about Dave Green. I mean we know nothing about him. He just made a small movie last year.
