Congrats to the cast and crew of TMNT on their Daytime Emmy win!

This past weekend, Nickelodeon's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cartoon series was, in a tie with "All Hail King Julien," awarded a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Casting for an Animated Series or Special.

The award specifically recognizes Meredith Layne, Sarah Noonan, and Gene Vassilaros. Congratulations to the TMNT team!

Quick edit: I just found out they won an Emmy in 2014, as well, but it's still awesome to hear this today.

Good to hear. Was trying to look the other night, but no darn article I was seeing would just lay it out so it was easy to figure out if they'd won or not.

Wouldn't hold my breath on there being one unless someone there got it on their phone or something.

They were part of the more behind the scenes types of honors for the "Creative Arts Emmy Awards" which, to my understanding, was held separately from the 'regular' Emmys show. (Because, you know, awards shows are unfortunately like that.)
