FCBD question.

Hi. I don't really have an lcs and I like limiting the amount of paper products I buy(or take for free). So does anyone know if the FCBD issues will be up on comixology?

They have been in the past, but...i don't think day of.
You may have to wait.

Anyone else finding it impossible to score a copy of this book? I went to four goddamn places around town and it's gone everywhere. I'm guessing because of the "death" of Donatello. Mother****ing jonny-come-latelys.

I got the turtles comic. I was upset I missed out on the Doctor Who one.

I was able to get my copy, and picked up 2 extra copies too. Really great recap of what has happened and what is now happening in the story. Can't wait for #46.

My local comic shop owner reserved the last copy for me, so I just went to pick it up along with Secret Wars #0 and all the other TMNT/Godzilla titles in my folder. :D

Anyone know if the FCBD book will be collected in a TPB?

Welp, I got mine, surprisingly enough. My library usually participates in FCBD, but it's all donated left-overs from previous years as far back as- 2007/8? But THIS year, they actually had a (small) selection of THIS YEAR'S comics, and the IDW one was in it! I got there fairly early, and they have you get a ticket before you can pick any up (and it's limited to two comics per person) but I snagged both the TMNT AND the Marvel Secret Wars one. So now I'm doing my happy dance of victory. I also took my other half along, and had him grab the Street Fighter and DC Divergence ones for me, too. Then we went out to see Avengers 2 and had lunch (for free! YAY!) at the TB where I work. So I'm on a total FCBD "high" now. For ONCE, they actually had the NEW stuff, and I got to see what everyone is talking about with Donnie, so- AWESOME!

Yes, Bobby Curnow has stated that the FCBD issue will be collected in Volume 13. Volumes 12 and 13 will collect this current "Vengeance" story arc (issues #45-50).

Volume 12, #45-48
Volume 13, #49-50+FCBD

Note, #50 will be double-length.

Anyway, that's the latest we have from IDW on this.

Not a lot, a bunch of recap and a little action but nothing major

Anyone have an extra copy of the FCBD TMNT issue? All 3 stores were out in my area.

The book starts off with Splinter recapping a basic origin while observing a comatose Don. Meanwhile, the remaining Turtles stand on a rooftop, looking down at a riot of thugs while reminiscing about the events throughout the span of the series, from Cityfall, the Mutanimals, and recounting what happened to Don.

Soon, the punks below start to steal a car when the boys jump into action, lay them out and face Hun, only for the party to get crashed by Bludgeon and Koya! That doesn't last long, though, because CyberDon appears, firing off a warning shot and a really scathing one-liner, heh.

There's a fun scene of him transforming into go-kart mode and skidding into some trash after the group rushes off from the goons.

Cue the reunion scene and and end on a note vowing the end of Shredder.

For those who weren't able to find the book, wait a couple weeks and check any of the major online comic book retailers. They will typically lost them for sale at rather inexpensive prices. Had to buy the Baltimore FCBD one-shot a few years back from MyComicShop.com
