Alternate Universes and Dimension X
 

Since there are more than one TMNT universe, is Dimension X a universe within the 1987 world, or is it a universe outside it?

Doesn't the 2012 series have its own Dimension X?

It's a dimension/universe within that universe. Yes, Nick's got one too.

There was a topic here years ago that dealt with this exact thing, I believe it was called "Dimension X: Universe or Dimension".

But yeah at some point I played around the idea that Dimension X was one dimension and the TMNTAdventures Dimension X was the same as the OT one, there's some inconsistencies but it could work. I don't think the 2012 show Dimension X or IDW version would fit this theory anymore though.

Dimension Z is where Mr. Ogg was from.

I thought it was just an entirely separate dimension. In the Turtles Forever movie, Shredder and Krang are looking for alternate counter parts, and of course while searching for their parallel versions, they don't find Krang in the 2003 TMNT universe which makes sense because Krang was from another entirely different dimension having nothing to do with the Turtles. I don't think it's within the 1987 world as it has nothing to do with the Turtles and wouldn't be considered another alternate TMNT universe.
