Homage to the OT- The technodrome

You know, sorry if this comes out of left field in all this move debate and discussion, but a thought was crossing my mind. I was visiting a planetarium the other day, and it occurred to me as I was walking in; ever since I was a little kid, I've noticed a lot of these astronomy buildings have a spherical shape and structure similar to the technodrome from the cartoons, so I was thinking;

Wouldn't it be a cool nod to the cartoons, if in some TMNT movie paramount made in the future, the foot clan made their hideout in an old abandoned planetarium, with a giant golf ball exterior and a huge eye on top to represent how the planetarium's telescope can see 'everything' in space, and a giant fork-like apparatus on the side as an antennae/decoration. And the huge planetarium was called 'the technodrome' when it was in operation? It would be a nice throwback, without getting all goofy and silly like everybody's afraid of. Just a thought...

You know what's more likely than an old planetarium being called the Technodrome? The actual Technodrome showing up.

I know... I just thought It's be a more serious way of doing a nice little homage, but you're probably right... :ohwell:

Might be a little bit of a stretch, but interesting idea. :)

Dear god. I just realized Epcot's "Spaceship Earth" is a Technodrome hiding in plain site.

No, that'd just be more shallow pandering, the last thing we need more of.

I think there's way, way more than enough Fred Wolf "homages" out there today.
