someone explain the later seasons to me
 

i stopped watching the later seasons i guess by season 6 or 7 when was the technodrome in the artic and underwater? i thought it was destroyed in the big blow out why is Dregg there and who was he? What happened to shredder and krang during that period? i need updates

Uh.....I think the guy that voiced Shredder went on to do Fresh Prince so they had to get rid of Shredder and Krang?

You said you stopped watching around season 6/7, yet you tought the Technodrome was destroyed in The Big Blow Out? That episode was the last ep of season THREEE, my friend...The Technodrome was pretty much totaled beyond repair in the season 8 finale "Turtle Trek", where its main engine was destroyed and then was pulled down a deep pit by the tentacles of a feroucious plant (this was in Dimension X). That wasn't the last that was seen of them, however. While they were stranded in Dimension X, Dregg's sidekick Mung spotted them while he was visiting there. When Dregg heard that Shredder and Krang were long-time enemies of the turtles, he wanted to capture them from Dimension X and use them to help him get rid of the turtles. It turns out, however, that Shredder and Krang would rather work for themselves than be "enslaved" by Dregg. This all happens in a 3-part saga in season 10: "The Power of Three", "A Turtle in Time", and "Turtles to the Second Power", respectively.

I hope that clears up a few things...

and might I say those were some of the best tmnt episodes ever very dramatic
I think it was the only time this old cartoon even got close to this new one

I agree. I wonder why the change took so long.

Not me I liked the light comedic episodes of the earlier seasons. But these were alright episodes, though the worst of the series in my opinion.

My favorite was always "The Catwoman from Channel 6". Obviously I'm a big April fan.

These later eps were by no means the best of the show, but neither were they the worst. (Thats called indecision.) I liked the lighter more comedic version of the earlier seasons, and I think the story quality went down the tubes. Every ep started the same way; they start out fighting somebody, they lose, then they come back and win. The only thing that changed was who/where they were fighting. However, it was better animation, even though I don't like the style.

the later seasons were alright....it was hard to get used to the mutation changes.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I never made the Shredder/Uncle Phil connection before and I can't begin to explain how insanely and inexplicably happy I am to know this.

I'm just imagining the voices now and wondering how the heck I never figured it out before. I owe you a muffin.

Carter had actually been "spying" on them since the beginning of Season 9 since he secretly wanted to learn the TMNT ways...the turtles later caught him and brought him to their lair for an explanation...you know the rest ;)
