Would anyone else have enjoyed the ninja turtles more if they spoke like this?


i personally think the "chill out homeboy.." should have been the first lined used in turtles forever by the old tmnt.

Isn't it a shame that the "ninja dentist, ninja video rental" and other ninja buildings vanished about the first episode :(


does anyone else feel the music in ot ninja turtles made an impact on the show?

isnt it rare that most theme song openers show clips of other episodes.. i really wish there was an episode with parts from the opening. esp when they all go running headstrong into the technodrome.


is anyone ever going to do a parody of the ninja turtles w/ "growing pains" since there have been so many incarnations now i think that would be good fun

No, I don't think we needed that language in the show, glad it was dropped.

i like the "chill out homeboy" quote, its so season 1 cant imagine donatello saying it in later seasons. they didnt drop that kind of dialogue completely though, mondo gecko calls michelangelo his "best home-turtle" in one episode. and im sure the turtles have said "chill out" or something similar like "cool off" at some point througout the series.

Actually, the "Ninja (fill in the blank)" places DID show up again a few times in later episodes, at least as far in as season three or four, IIRC. Usually it was just as background art for whatever was going on.

Man, we need a Ninja Apple Store. All of the stock vanishes before your eyes, just like a ninja! Probably because people are selling the stuff on eBay.
