Should there be an OST?
There's a few songs online here and there but I always wanted to hear the actual music themes from the show in an album of some sort, everything from the first season to the Red Sky Seasons. Would anyone know if there is such an album?
One of the themes I like involved The scene in the 5th episode where the Turtles are fighting the Foot Soldiers before going to the Technodrome The theme that plays when April contacts the Turtles The Technodrome Theme Krang's Theme The theme that plays when Shredder breaks into the Glaxxon Ship from "Cyber Turtles" The theme that plays during the final battle with Lord Dregg. |
The closest we're gonna get is this, unless they release the actual OST.

Maybe there should be a kickstarter campaign for this. Chuck Lorre might contribute to it.

Fred Wolf Films (and/or Mirage/Richardson) effed Lorre and DC Brown in their arses. He would not contribute.
I don't see what a kickstarter would do either. I mean, the stuff is recorded and just sitting somewhere collecting dust. Nothing needs to be done other than uploading it to the Internet. |

How does one get the recorded music to be uploaded? It's a shame because TMNT does have a cool soundtrack, both pre and post red sky season. |
We're all assuming that the music still even exists anymore.

I honestly think the original cartoon has some of the best background music I've ever heard in a cartoon. Particularly the score during the early seasons and some new tracks around Seasons 6-7.

Some of that music when they're just walking around the sewers or exploring some area...and this amazing music plays in the background. Like its weird and I can't describe it, but the original cartoon has this background music that's just great to hear and fits the scenes its in.

Yeah there was a lot of music in the lair I just really liked when the Turtles were just sitting around. I also like that music when they're "searching" for something, it actually plays in the third episode where the Turtles are looking for Michaelangelo after the house fell on top of him where he saw Krang for the first time.

I always enjoyed the first 3 seasons' music the most. Some of the post-season 3 music was good, but not as good as the original 3 seasons.

I read a comment on YouTube that the Technodrome theme came from a sound patch from the Roland D50 synthesizer called "Sweep Loop on C." It can be found on this website as an MP3 at the very bottom of the page.
http://www.synthmania.com/pn-d50-02.htm I think it is possible for the soundtrack to be recreated, especially if that synthesizer was the one that was originally used to record it. |
That's cool to hear as I've wondered how they made the Technodrome song. I like the Red Sky music more. There's the one where Lord Dregg first appears to the people of the Earth introducing his molecular converter. The song is quite creepy to me and it's even creepier when that theme plays when Dregg is pretending to be a good guy.
