Growing up is... Expensive.
Mortgage, student loans, so much expenses and bills. |
Growing up is realizing that you never stop learning even after you've left school and that life is a constant learning experience until you die.

Growing up is sacrificing your hard earned money on food and bills when you'd rather use it for comics and toys.
Speaking of toys, rather than playing with them they get proudly displayed instead. |
Growing up is realizing most people are full of BS in one way or another.

Growing up is getting excited when you buy a new kitchen appliance.

Growing up is loosing all your childhood toys, or video games, that you sold for Red Bull, "interesting" magazines, and your lady friend. You then see on the vast world of the Internet that the ONE boring figure you hated or that ONE boring game you hated ,and never opened, is worth hundreds, or even thousands of dollars now. I bet you wished you saved that stuff, not for nostalgia, but the money you could buy groceries or pay your rent with.

I just hate the fact that time flies as an adult. When you're a kid and teen it feels time moves so SLOWLY, like you're just waiting for your next birthday and it takes forever to get out of school.
Then you hit your 20's and they magically fly by before you know it. I seriously can't believe my 20's are almost over...like it just flew by. What the hell. |

...realising how stupid were those things I worried about as an adolescent. In high school I worried about grades. Now I'm preoccupied with my documents needed for my studies and work.
