Official Ep Discussion: S3 Ep23: "The Fourfold Trap"
 

Okay, so the boys are being lured into a trap. Who's setting these? Why are they being trapped? What is the final intent of their kidnapper? Will Splinter and April have to save the boys? Or do the boys have to save their own skin?

OMG!!!! Splinter has a giant Hamster Wheel :lol:

and OMG!!!! It's Karai after all.

Why does it have to be Karai? Lame. Should have been Newtralizer. This episode had so much potential to be something great.

This was interesting. It didn't really feel all too much like filler due to the fact that Karai's free.

Can someone do a quick recap of the episode? I won't be able to watch till later

That's the only reason why, but the fact that they wasted a whole episode to free Karai and nothing else was kinda stupid.

Pretty much. Go ahead, I know I sound childish, but I simply don't like it because it wasted its potential.

Wow I can't believe people are moaning about it being Karai even though (season 3 spoilers under spoilers)

Hey, we'll probably get Newtralizer in Season 4. Plus, we did get plot development. Karai's free and stuck in the sewers. At least it's better than filler. (Then again, there's no such thing as a filler Foot episode.)

It's really strange that Shredder wasn't anywhere in this episode. I'd hate to be the minion that has to inform him of Karai's current situation.

On a lighter note, that hamster wheel though.

Guessing how the Kuro Kabuto episode went, he won't be happy. (He'll probably blame it on Splinter, which is actually something he blames Splinter for in which he has a good reason to blame him. And wasn't something he did.)

I want to bet that Playmates will make a toy of that. Also, how in the world did he get a hamster wheel that big? Did he steal the one from Stockman's lab? Splinter: Hmmm... I'll take this as a souvenir!

I was a little annoyed it was Karai too, but then they FINALLY went somewhere with the brain control crap so at least we can finally get her back on the right side and cut the ********.

Amen to cutting the "WE GOTTA GET KARAI BACK" crap. Although there probably will be an episode or a segment of an episode devoted to a chase of Karai, the Foot vs the Turtles.

It's basically confirmed we'll get Newtralizer in S4. He's part of a clan on his homeworld and blah-blah, it will eventually lead to Mona Lisa. Plot Twist: He's the father.

Yeah, I gonna wait to see how long this will last but the next season is probably entirely focus on the turtles in space so chances are we won't see her again until maybe fifth season.

At least now we'll get a cool Karai reunion episode, which I'm excited for.

And the episode was pretty badass. Mikey's mutagen machine was straight from an 87 episode, right?
