J.R Venitmilia was co writer with Joshua Sternin of season 1 of Nick's Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles had recently underwent gender reassignment.:o

I wonder why so many people are doing this late in their life. Aren't these fully grown adults? I thought most people do this when they're young in their 20's not when they've already lived a full adult life as a gender. Either way hope she's doing well.

This is pretty old news.
I greatly miss them both on the show. A lot of the authentic Japanese stuff in season one came from her being an avid student of ninjitsu. |

People transition when they feel ready, safe, and supported enough to do so. Sometimes that's when they're children, sometimes it's when they're well into adulthood.
