Cool! I wonder what this demondragon is, the only dragon I remember was from the archie series comic, which had a guy that turned into a giant dragon.

Good, a Nick version of the Ninja Tribunal arc in Season 5 as well no less.

Wow, they're on the ball, starting just shy of season four even premiering. All the little secretes they will soon know that we'll have to wait for a year to find out...

Wow, hard to believe that even though we've only gotten two episode descriptions for Season 4 so far, we've already got the first title for Season 5! "Demodragon" definitely sounds interesting. Could this be a new thing or a new take on a previous idea? The Warrior Dragon/Hothead? (Warrior Dragon WAS pretty similar to Etrigan the Demon of DC Comics fame, so "Demodragon" would kinda fit.) the Ninja Tribunal stuff? The Dragon Lord and Rank of Next Mutation finally being used to their potential? Oooooooh, so much potential and we've still got several months before we'll come even an inch closer to finding out. Love these kinds of teasers. :lol:

Not to mention we also have Drako who later on merges with The Ultimate Ninja and becomes "The Ultimate Drako"

there is also Herman the Horrible which wasn't really a dragon, he's more like two alien turtles in a two headed dragon costume.

Not any that I'm aware of. I've been a D&D player/DM for nearly two decades and three game editions beginning with 2nd (I skipped over 4th), and I've never come across anything called a demodragon. There are pseudo-dragons, half-dragons, draconians, planar dragons, dragonets, dracoliches, dracolisks (dragon/baskilisk), fairy dragons, dragon horses, dragonnels, linnorm dragons, dragon-kin, Lung (Oriental) dragons, and dragon-gods, even a dragon-turtle, but no demo-dragons that I've ever come across, nor anything relating to such. A demonic dragons, perhaps, but I'm not certain that the title is referring to anything of the kind.



This sounds much more likely. Dragon Lord or Hothead could be a good possibility.



Hmm, Drako is also a good candidate.

Given they're working on Season 5 already, I wonder if a Season 6 and 7 will be decided sometime next year.

Seems like they're already working on an episodes a more than a year in advance.

Seriously guys, we haven't seen season 4 yet. It's a bit early to make speculation on something we only know the title of.

But since we are all speculating here. The title doesn't sound like Ninja tribunal to me... the title is Scroll of the Demodragon. That indicates its a scroll that belongs to a demonic dragon, or a scroll that summons a demonic dragon. That limits it to two possible established characters, Dragon Lord and Drako.

Dragon Lord also known as Dragon Skull was the king of all dragons who was trapped long ago in a different dimension, but manages to escape imprisonment to reclaim what he feels is his. Since the Kraang and the Turtles will be dimension hopping this season perhaps some action on either party opens up the dimension where Dragon Lord is imprisoned enabling his escape or one of his minions to pass through. Then Dragon Lord needs the "Scroll of the Demodragon" to unleash his forces. Or if it's the minion then the scroll would be used to unleash the might of the dragon lord.


Drako however is one of two villainous characters from the Ninja Tribunal though. Both were legitimately defeated in battle and both were sore losers because of their defeat.

Ultimate Ninja had wanted to fight the Shredder to see who was the more superior ninja, however he learned that Shredder had been defeated by Leonardo so he challenges Leo to a mortal dual to see who was superior. Leo wins, but Ultimate Ninja refuses to accept defeat and dishonorably tries to kill the Turtles and Splinter. But Ultimate Daimyo stops his son from doing so.

Drako on the other hand was a feared fighter and champion of the battle nexus. He is defeated in the last round by Splinter and after everything was over he attacks Splinter seeking revenge for his defeat. He was interrupted in his attempts to kill Splinter and vanished for several years. He returns as Ultimate Ninja's councilor. Ultimate Ninja poisons Leonardo rendering him unable to participate in the Nexus Tournament, and then framing Splinter for an attack upon the ultimate daimyo so he can take control of the nexus. Drako also wanted to control the Nexus and they end up fighting over the Daimyo's war staff creating a rift that swallows the two to them. We see them later in Return of Savanti when the Turtles go to the cretaceous period to fight Savanti Romero.

A good way to introduce them in the nick show is the Ultimate Ninja comes to seek a duel with Hamato Yoshi. Unfortunately assuming that Splinter is dead still, he is unable to so he turns his attention to the Turtles since they are Hamato Yoshi's successors. Leo steps forward saying that he will face the Ultimate Ninja in the duel and everything has to be between the two of them only. At first Ultimate Ninja has the upper hand, but Leo wins the fight. Ultimate Ninja isn't happy about his defeat and says they would regret this day. Returning to the Nexus he uses the "Scroll of the Demodragon" to summon Dreko so he can get his revenge upon the Turtles.

It's never to early to speculate. That's like, literally the definition of speculating.

As long as there is a real dragon in this one and it isn't a title for some ninja, emperor, etc.

And to the people who say we exaggerate when myself and others say it takes about a whole year to make one complete episode.
