Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir
 

Saw the first 2 showings, and I got to say I am pretty impress with the show.

I also like how the main villain uses his powers to make kids with petty problems into villains. Anger, hate, leads to the dark side and all that.

Has a bit of Sailor Moon hints with Ladybug and Cat Noir transformation scenes. The other does not know there heroes out of suit. So its a Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask kinda of deal here.

I enjoy the show, and cant wait for the next airing on the 17th.

I hate her awful polka-dot outfit but other than that the show looks good. :)

I still have some french episodes downloaded that I need to watch.

personally, I love the original trailer...it gives more the mahou shoujo style.

wonder whatever happened to that other french anime that nick had on nick jr.

There is no way your going to make a ladybug super hero look like say Batman :lol:.

But it looks cute for a ladybug theme hero. Infact I dont recall any hero uses a ladybug as well, fighting crime lol.

I wanted to like this, but it really misses the mark. The first episode doesn't introduce anything. I still don't really know the villain's motivation except that he's bad and wants to do bad things.
I do like the art direction. I think the villains all look pretty cool.
It had potential, I guess it still has potential, but it feels rushed and poorly planned.

God that looks beautiful....

I've been wanting to check this show out since 2012...The sad thing is, it took them a little long for this show to come out. The studio who made Ladybug also had another show in production that I was really interested in: Transylmaniak (or Transylmaniac)

I watched the first episode in french...that's all I did

I saw a couple of gifs and cute fan arts on tumblr. She and Chat Noir are a cute pairing.

I really wish they would air the episodes in the chronological order. I mean the last two episodes of the season are there origin story.

I really love Bryce Papenbrook's voice acting! He's really good! :smile:

If this show does really well we could get a 2D OAV, live action movie, and more according to the creators.

Actually I really like the French language version best. The dubbing isn't bad but some of the dialog isn't as good.

I really hope this series gets a Blu Ray release with the French, Korean, and English language tracks with English subtitles.

Does anyone know what the show's ratings are in the US or at least were to find out? I would love to know how the show is doing here.

Well I am glad the show got renewed for a 2nd and 3rd season.

It saddens me that this show isn't nearly as popular in the US as the rest of the world. It's like W.i.t.c.h. all over again.:-?

Interesting, they doubled the comics size to 64 pages. Wait is 32 pages the standard size for comics these days?

Season 2 will start sometime next year.

New powers
New characters
New villains
A Christmas episode
A Shanghai episode

It hasn't been confirmed but season 3 may also start next year as well.
