But, yeah, I gotta go with Mikes on this one. I miss New York, too. But good episode either way:tthumbsu: Does above think though, that something was fishy about Fugituod this episode?? |
Anyone catch the Cudley reference at the beginning?

GREAT episode, and I REALLY hope 2K12 Tokka comes back, LADY GAMERA FOR THE WIN! Also-WE HAVE OUR TIMELOOP ladies and gentlemen! |
Overall, not too shabby an episode! Certainly among the best this season, though personally that's not saying much. Chompy is adorable though I find a little unnecessary. Otherwise, decent plot, characterization (about time for Raph being a perfect blend!), and sets up the next episode.
Two main issues though, the animation like The Moons of Thalos 3 doesn't feel spectacular. As I mentioned there, the animation didn't feel entirely executed to it's fullest potential, just the generic red and black. Also, compared to The Cosmic Ocean this episode and Moons felt a little lackluster without enough colors. Besides that, why was Dregg even here? I understand because of the alliance with the Triceratons, but he almost felt unnecessary to everything. When last episode left a lot of questions unanswered and then nothing to specify on it, Dregg feels like a waste. Heck, he's been a waste of a villain since the beginning with a pitiful motive and just not doing too well. His whining in the beginning just sums up my feelings of Dregg in this series: a once promising addition reduced to nothing but a spoiled brat. If he doesn't return, my analogy of him being like a child is right. :ohwell: Other than pacing, nothing really to complain about. I'll give it a 6.5 out of 10. |
Nice episode. I had one issue with it, though. Dregg was tossed around and manipulated easily. Can't wait for next episode. And to the person who said that 'something amusing' is related to Fugitoid and bhg, I think that is the moment they realize the Kraang was hiding on earth.

I liked it, I didn't love it, but I liked it. And I am so glad that this is the last episode in the Space Arc.
So far, this has been my least favorite season, hopefully, we can end this season on a high note. |
I'm okay with them doing it this way, make the first half a silly adventure season, and the second half a more serious one! ALSO-who wants to bet Karai dethrones Oroku Saki as Shredder?
