Why do we not do 'Drome Awards anymore? Or have they been going on and no one's told me? :P

People take it too seriously and feelings get hurt, that's why.

I figured that'd be a reason. But outside the usual suspects, I think we all know how to play nice.

It's pointless anymore.

I've seen people get super offended over awards results on other forums and would go out of their way to make sure whoever won wouldn't again in that particular category.

You know, Mew, you made a thread right here in this section a couple days ago illustrating how uptight you yourself can be sometimes.

I've never witnessed a members awards contest on any forum, but I guess hoping for something civil would be expecting too much, huh? :lol:

Yeah. Everyone's a comedian these days. Or tries to be.

CyberCubed's the funniest person here anyway, it's just that he doesn't really intend to be.

Now people are gonna come in this thread and be like "I'm not one of the tryhards, RIGHT?!"

That is exactly what I was thinking...for two people who have such different interest we sure do think alike. It's like that guy in high school who you have nothing in common with but still hangout with and people ask you 'why'.

As for the Dromies I am willing to give it a trial run. If it does not pan out this time shut it down for good. e just have to act like adults and I know that is much easier said than done
