What exactly did Venus do to Shredder in Next Mutation?
 

I first thought Venus "erased" Shredder's memory, but in his final appearance, he was acting like his villainous self. I find it odd he was hanging around with Splinter and the turtles. Was he too weak to fight them? :ohwell:

I know Splinter is supposed to be noble and all, but helping the man who murdered his master is ridiculous.

She used her apparent non ninja shinobi magic and pulled Shredder's spirit out of his a** and showed him how he was acting and stuff. Then he fainted. Being a d*ck is Shredder's persona so it doesn't matter

Yeah, she sort of brought all the guilt and shame he suppressed to the service and weakened him, he would have gotten better if the series had continued.

Why don't you actually answer his question instead of being a condescending d*ck to him?

Despite being better in his next appearance, he still had his evil tendencies. But yes, it would've been better had the series continued. He could've been in the teamup with PRIS and when the Turtles' minds were cleared, he could've been permanently cured.

It's next mutation. It really doesn't have to make sense.

Homeless Shredder and the brief discussion about if they could ever forgive Shredder for his past actions was like the only good part of Next Mutation.

I wouldn't say it was the only good part, but it was definitely the best! That episode may not have been executed all that well, but conceptually, it's really, really solid.

Venus mind raped Shredder by showing him an image of her Turtle boobs underneath her plastron.

Splinter being friends with a blind guy was another great idea in TNM

Although Nick has in a way brought back the "blind companion" character... the Chinese restaurant owner, right?

She caused him to no longer be the villain of the show, leaving room to be replaced by an extremely stupid new villain. Basically, she broke what didn't need fixing.
